The goal of this research is to educate people about different technologies to support care at home when someone is experiencing memory difficulties. "Let's Talk Tech" is a new tool to educate people about technologies commonly used to support care and monitor safety, and help families talk about their feelings about them to understand each other's perspectives. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if "Let's Talk Tech" helps people feel more prepared to make decisions about technologies. Researchers will compare Let's Talk Tech to usual care (no intervention) to see if Let's Talk Tech increases peoples' preparedness and confidence to make decisions about technologies. Participants will: * Use the Let's Talk Tech web application together with their study partner that takes up to an hour or do nothing. * Complete three surveys. The second survey will be taken within 2 weeks of the first and the last survey will be taken 3 months after the first. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to see how adding avocado to a breakfast meal affects blood sugar control and signals of hunger and fullness after eating. The investigators will test the effects of 3 breakfast meals on blood sugar control and signals of hunger and fullness after eating: 1. Whole-wheat bread and strawberry jam 2. Whole-wheat bread, strawberry jam, and avocado 3. Whole-wheat bread and strawberry jam (meal enriched with fat and fiber to mimic that of an avocado) Participants will undergo 3 test periods, each separated by a week. Each test period consists of one day with set meals that the investigators will provide (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and then the next morning, participants will eat a breakfast meal and have blood drawn several times over 4 hours. RBS2418 is a specific immune modulator that works through the inhibition of ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 1 (ENPP1) and is designed to lead to anti-tumor immunity by protecting endogenous 2'-3'-cyclic guanosine monophosphate-adenosine monophosphate (cGAMP) from hydrolysis and leading to the activation of antigen-presenting cells followed by T cell activation. The hypothesis is that RBS2418 versus placebo will be generally safe, well-tolerated, immunogenic, and will lead to anti-tumor responses in adult subjects for the treatment of advanced, metastatic, and progressive colorectal cancer (CRC). Investigators performing this research want to look at the use of a special imaging process during a specific throat surgery. Using this imaging may help to lower a common complication that called a pharyngocutaneous fistula (PCF). A PCF is a leak in the tube in the throat that helps with breathing and digesting food. The imaging is called the SPY Fluorescence System. This system can identify tissue that is not receiving enough blood. The SPY Fluorescence System uses a special dye, called Indocyanine green (ICG) to better see the tissues that are not receiving enough blood. When tissue does not receive enough blood, it can lead to infection. Infection of tissue in this area of the throat can lead to PCF. The imaging takes about 1 minute and is performed in the operating room during surgery. For this study, the investigators (who are also surgeons) will decide to remove tissue that is identified by the SPY Fluorescence System to have decreased blood flow. They will then continue with the rest of the surgery as usual. The investigators will monitor participants as they recover from surgery to identify any complications that may occur. For this research they are interested in complications during the first month after surgery since this is when PCF usually happens. Investigators will use information that has been documented in the medical records of participants as well as during in-person physical examinations during inpatient recovery and outpatient clinical visits. The goal of this observational study is to develop a blood test that may be predictive of postpartum depression. This Blood test is investigational and not yet FDA approved. Participants will not receive the results of this blood test. Up to 500 pregnant women will be recruited for the study from 2 sites. Participants must be age 18 or above with a singleton pregnancy and able to provide written consent in English. The Objective of this Clinical Trial is to prospectively validate the Enlighten Device test by prospectively determining false/true positive and negative rates. Building off of this, an exploratory objective of this study is to examine clinical factors associated with false positive/negative rates. This project will address the following Aim: Aim 1: Prospective collection of true/false positive and negative PPD outcomes through 6 months postpartum. Primary Hypothesis H1a: 80% or greater of pregnant women who develop PPD by 3 months after delivery will be determined to be Biomarker Positive by the Enlighten Device in T3. Primary Hypothesis H1b: 10% or fewer of pregnant women who are determined to be Biomarker Negative by the Enlighten Device in T3 will develop PPD by 3 months after delivery. Exploratory Aim 1: Investigation of clinical factors that may be associated with false positive and false negative rates, such as: medication use, stressful life events, and sociocultural context. Participants will be screened during the second or third trimester and enrolled during the third trimester, before week 30 weeks of gestation. Participants may self- identify through study advertisements in participating clinics, social media outlets, and community outreach efforts. Enrolled participants will undergo blood collection during their 3rd trimester (\~27-30 weeks, a standard pregnancy-related blood collection timepoint) for completion of the Enlighten Device test, the blood-based epigenetic biomarker test. Participants will then be interviewed at 2 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, and 6 months postpartum for the development of depression symptoms. The most common cochlear implant intervention provides an electrode array that stimulates less than half of the length of the cochlea, leaving the regions which represent lower frequencies in the normally functioning ear unstimulated. Providing stimulation over the entire cochlea has the potential to improve speech understanding, sound quality, as well as spectral and temporal representation. Increasing the length of the electrode array to cover a greater portion of the cochlea has many potential issues, including increased damage to the cochlea and probability of incomplete insertions. In this study, a new technique is being investigated that allows stimulation across the entire cochlear extent without increasing the length of the electrode array. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the benefit of the new technique on speech understanding outcomes. This study will evaluate a new form of non-invasive brain stimulation for individuals with depression. Personalized low-intensity transcranial focused ultrasound stimulation will be delivered using a range of stimulation parameters during psychological and physiological monitoring. This study evaluates the rates of radiation-specific toxicity, quality of life, and oncologic outcomes for early-stage breast cancer and ductal carcinoma in situ treated with 5-fraction whole breast irradiation (WBI) with a simultaneous integrated tumor bed boost (SIB). SIB refers to the technique tumor bed boost given at the same time as standard radiation therapy. The FAST-Forward trial previously showed that a 1-week course of radiotherapy had similar effects to the traditional 3-week course for early-stage breast cancer after surgery. Given these favorable results, a 5-fraction WBI regimen is appealing for many patients who wish to minimize the number of treatment visits while still reducing their risk of recurrence. Generally, tumor bed boosts further decrease the risk of recurrence, but in the setting of 5-fraction WBI, a more traditional sequential boost technique is utilized. Read Less
