The goal of this implementation science study is to learn about the experience of receiving and providing cabotegravir + rilpivirine long-acting (CAB+RPV LA) injections as treatment for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) for people who live a significant distance from an HIV provider. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Is CAB+RPV LA feasible and acceptable to patients and staff? * What barriers and supports exist and have the most impact on receiving and providing CAB+RPV LA? * How does CAB+RPV LA affect HIV stigma, treatment satisfaction, medication adherence and viral suppression? People living with HIV who reside outside of the Omaha, Nebraska metro area and are starting CAB+RPV LA as part of regular medical care for HIV will be invited to participate in this study which involves completing questionnaires and an interview over 15 months. The goals of this study are to test the effectiveness of a virtually delivered, group-based coping skills treatment program incorporating heart rate variability biofeedback to target autonomic dysfunction in youth diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The investigators will enroll participants with IBD in a biofeedback enhanced cognitive behaviorally based coping skills treatment. Participants who have a surgical procedure called Posterior Cervical (neck) Spine Surgery will normally need pain medication to relieve post operative pain. This usually includes opioid medications. In this study, the consented participant may receive a nerve block procedure, in addition to the pain relieving medication. There is a fifty-fifty chance to receive the nerve block. The goal is to see if the nerve block group needs less opioid medication, has lower pain scores and is discharged from the hospital sooner. Read Less

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the skin and joints in 2-3 % of people in the United States. This inflammation of the skin, joints, and blood vessels in patients with psoriasis has been measured by older PET Scan technology but with limitations. With the new EXPLORER PET scanner technology, the investigators are testing to see if the EXPLORER is better than previous PET scanners and improve our ability to assess inflammation in patients. Also, it is known that the typical Western Diet - high in saturated fats, added sugars, and low in fiber - contributes to obesity and inflammation worldwide. There is evidence in animals that these signs of inflammation are reversible within 4 weeks when changed to a more balanced diet. Thus, this study aims to assess whether there are detectable decreases in inflammation of the skin and body of psoriasis patients who usually eat a Western Diet on an EXPLORER PET scan following 6 weeks of a more balanced diet. The goal of this pilot randomized clinical trial is to learn if a music therapy treatment, called AMUSED, can improve engagement and reduce behavioral symptoms in older adults with severe dementia who live in care facilities. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Is it feasible to conduct a full-scale trial of AMUSED? * Can investigators identify the best outcome measures to assess impact on behavioral symptoms of dementia? * Does speech offer a useful indicator of treatment effectiveness? Researchers will compare a group-based music therapy treatment to a reading activity to learn if music therapy leads to greater improvements in behavioral symptoms and speech patterns. Participants will: * Participate in either music therapy (includes live music, singing, and rhythmic instrument playing) or a reading group with stories about life and nature and talk about memories. * Attend small group sessions twice a week for 12 weeks, with each session lasting 40 minutes between lunch and dinner. * Be observed and assessed for behavioral symptoms, cognition, and speech several times during treatment and at a 4-week follow-up. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if stimulating the vagus nerve in combination with a motor task in people with multiple sclerosis can improve motor function. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Is stimulating the vagus nerve safe and feasible after demyelinating episodes? * Does a paired motor task with vagus nerve stimulation improve motor function with someone who has multiple sclerosis? Researchers will compare active vagus nerve stimulation to a sham stimulation to see if the paired vagus nerve stimulation can improve motor control. Participants will: * Come in for study visits over a six month period. Study visits are three times weekly for the first month, then single follow up visits at two, three, and six months. * During study visits, participants will complete 30 minutes of the paired vagus nerve stimulation with a motor task, specifically the grooved peg test. * At various timepoints in the study, motor and disability tests will be administered to see if there are any changes in motor control for that participants. These tests include the timed 25 foot walk test, expanded disability scale, the upper extremity portion of the Fugl-Meyer Assessment, and the Multiple Sclerosis Impact Scale - 29. Read Less
