Wearable MCI to Reduce Muscle Co-activation in Acute and Chronic Stroke
Recruiting
The purpose of the study is to explore the feasibility of using a wearable device, called a myoelectric-computer interface (MCI), to improve arm movement in people who have had a stroke. Impaired arm movement after stroke is caused not just by weakness, but also by impaired coordination between joints due to abnormal co-activation of muscles. These abnormal co-activation patterns are thought to be due to abnormal movement planning. The MCI aims to reduce abnormal co-activation by providing feedb... Read More

Scalable TELeheaLth Cancer CARe: The STELLAR Program to Treat Cancer Risk Behaviors
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical trial is to improve cancer patient's health, survival, and quality of life by dispelling risk behaviors for Northwestern Memorial Health Care (NMHC) patients who are cancer survivors. The main question\[s\] STELLAR aims to answer are: * How best to combine three behavior interventions (physical activity promotion, smoking cessation, obesity treatment) into one treatment. * Evaluate the reach of the program. We will look at the number, proportion, and representativenes... Read More

A Study To Learn About Two Study Medicines (PF-07275315 And PF-07264660) In People Who Have Moderate To Severe Atopic Dermatitis
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to learn about the safety and effects of 2 study medicines (PF-07275315 and PF-07264660) for the treatment of atopic dermatitis (AD). AD is a long- lasting itchy red rash, caused by a skin reaction. This study is seeking participants who: * are 18 years of age or more. * Were confirmed to have AD at least 6 months ago. * Are not having an effective treatment result from medicines that are applied on skin for AD. * Are considered by their doctors to have moderate to... AI-SCREENDCM Decentralized Clinical Trial - Pilot Study
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to assess the feasibility and impact of screening FDR of DCM probands using a mobile ECG with the ability to transmit the ECG for cloud-based AI analysis to detect reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF). This protocol will examine the impact of incorporating the screening AI enhanced ECG into standard of care recommendations.

Comparing Effectiveness of Duloxetine and Desipramine in Patients With Chronic Pain: A Pragmatic Trial Using Point of Care Randomization
Recruiting
Over 100 million Americans suffer from chronic pain resulting in annual cost of roughly $635 billion. Limited treatments are available for this widespread disease. The data supporting these treatments lack generalizability to patients with more serious medical and psychological comorbidities who are often excluded from explanatory efficacy trials. Our work aims to integrate randomized comparative effectiveness research with patient care. The investigators will randomize the patients and collect... Read More

The Supporting Understanding of PCOS Education and Research (SUPER) Study
Recruiting
This research will test whether a Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) or a very low-carbohydrate diet better improves outcomes like blood glucose control and body weight for adults with polycystic ovary syndrome. Participants will have screening (includes blood draw) and baseline testing with a continuous glucose monitor and a body composition scan (called a dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry or DEXA). Once these enrollment steps are completed and the participants will be randomized to... Read More
