The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate how differences in specific parts of our DNA can influence how individual bodies break down the hormones contained within oral contraceptive pills, which could affect how well these birth control pills work to prevent pregnancy. The investigators are also interested in exploring how these differences in our DNA can also explain why patients taking the exact same formulation of birth control pill will experience very different side effects. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Do individuals with the CYP3A7\*1C variant have increased metabolism of both desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol when taking a combined oral contraceptive pill? * Do individuals with the CYP3A7\*1C variant experience higher rates of breakthrough ovulation while taking a desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol combined oral contraceptive pill? * What novel genetic loci are associated with alterations in steroid hormone pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics among a larger cohort of combined oral contraceptive pill users? Participants will take a specific formulation of combined oral contraceptive pill (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) and undergo the following procedures: * Blood draw to measure the amount of progestin and estrogen in their system from the combined oral contraceptive pill * Questionnaires to assess side effects possibly caused by the combined oral contraceptive pill * Blood draw to measure endogenous hormone levels and biomarkers that may be affected by the combined oral contraceptive pill * A transvaginal ultrasound to measure any ovarian follicles (optional procedure) Read Less

The purpose of this research study is to establish a research database and biorepository for patients at National Jewish Health (NJH) who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) or Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). This study will also include civilian contractors who worked as part of these military operations in Iraq or Afghanistan. The biorepository would store blood samples obtained from these patients during a clinic visit. The research database would store prospectively and retrospectively collected clinical and exposure data that would enable us to comprehensively characterize each case. Read Less

This is a multiphase, multicenter study, which includes a Phase 1a open-label, dose escalation monotherapy study of ST-067 given as an SC injection with or without obinutuzumab \[Gazyva®\] pre-treatment, by IV infusion, and in combination with pembrolizumab. A Phase 2 monotherapy arm is also planned; the exact design of the Phase 2 study elements with respect to formulation and pre-treatment will be determined after completion of the Phase 1 study portion of the trial. The purpose of this study is to learn more about Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorders (EGIDs). With this registry we hope to find out more about the symptoms that patients have during their treatment, the quality of life they have with the diagnosis, what the disease looks like throughout the different treatment methods, and if there is a connection between EGIDs and connective tissue disorders. The goal of this study is to be able to better understand EGIDs and use information gained from all the information collected on this study for more precise treatments in the future. We want to create a large collection of samples, called a biorepository, to learn the most about EGIDs as possible. When the samples are collected, which will occur at procedures directed by your child's doctor as part of their standard of care, they will be stored for an unlimited amount of time to perform experiments on these samples and to gather information about EGIDs Read Less

This will be a phase II, single arm study of osteosarcoma patients with fully resected pulmonary metastases. The MTD corresponds to the dosage recommendations of the manufacturer of Iscador® P which is licensed in Sweden, New Zealand, South Korea, Germany and Switzerland for the treatment of solid tumors and precancerous lesions. The study population includes patients with relapse of osteosarcoma in the lung following surgical resection of all gross disease (2nd or greater CR). Following completion of final thoracotomy, they will be treated with Iscador® P at concentrations up to the MTD with surveillance imaging via CT scan to monitor for relapsed disease. Read Less

The goal of this clinical trial is to see if pantoprazole (a proton pump inhibitor used for acid reflux/heart burn) can reduce nausea and vomiting after gynecologic surgery in women between the ages of 18 and 79. Researchers will compare a placebo to the active medication. Participants will be asked to take three pills around their surgery, two taken before and one taken the night after. Read Less
