The purpose of this 8-week, double-blind, placebo-controlled, study is to explore new treatment options for people with depression who have high inflammation and anhedonia. Seventy male and female participants with depression, between 25-55 years of age, with higher levels of inflammation and anhedonia will be randomized to receive L-DOPA or matched placebo over 8 weeks. Participants will complete lab tests, medical and psychiatric assessments, motivation and motor tasks, and MRI scans as part of the study. Children with cerebral palsy (CP), Gross Motor Functional Classification Scale (GMFCS) I-II will be recruited to participate in a home based physical activity intervention for 4 weeks. Demographic data will be collected, and validated surveys assessing baseline physical activity level and mobility will be completed. Participants will have an exercise program assigned and will be given a logbook to record their exercise adherence. They will be assigned to the Augment Reality (AR) app group. The AR app group will have exercises administered through the AR app. At the end of the program, participants will complete final surveys and an exit interview. Read Less

The goal of this randomized clinical trial is to test the topical drug clascoterone in patients with pilonidal disease, which is a common, benign skin condition of the gluteal cleft. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does clascoterone improve the severity of pilonidal disease as scored by a physician? * Does clascoterone improve patient symptoms due to pilonidal disease? * Does clascoterone improve the inflammation seen under the microscope in pilonidal disease removed at surgery Participants will apply clascoterone or a placebo cream to the diseased area for 3 months. They will be assessed every 4 weeks for disease severity assessed by a physician viewing patient photos and a symptom-based survey. This phase I trial tests the change in androgen receptor sensitivity, side effects and effectiveness of bipolar androgen therapy, using testosterone, in patients with castration resistant prostate cancer that has spread to other places is the body (metastatic). Bipolar androgen therapy is the regulation of testosterone between castration levels (lower than what would be normally present) and supraphysiological levels (amounts greater than normally found in the body).
