The overall goal is to determine how a sleep extension intervention (increasing time in bed) in individuals who maintain less than 6.5 hours sleep per night affects their plasma ceramides and insulin sensitivity. Participants will undergo a randomized controlled trial, with sleep extension (intervention) and healthy lifestyle (control) groups. The sleep extension is designed to increase participant's time in bed by 2 hours per night. Alternatively, the control group will receive basic health information (e.g., physical activity, goal setting, and nutrition when eating out). Read Less

This clinical trial evaluates a patient navigation program for addressing disparities in breast cancer care. The navigation program is designed to help improve patient knowledge about clinical and supportive care services, navigate to existing services, help manage barriers to care, and enhance patient skills related to management of cancer treatment. The goal of this study is to measure bacterial burden, specifically Staph aureus, and how it spreads between mothers and their infants. Researchers will evaluate if the amount of bacteria on their skin remains the same after mothers use a skin antisepsis treatment prior to delivering their infants. The investigators also aim to assess participant interest in and compliance with skin antisepsis treatments. The purpose of this study is to examine the acute effects of cannabigerol (CBG) on various psychological (e.g., anxiety, stress, mood, memory, impairment, intoxication, side effects) and physiological (blood pressure, cortisol, heart rate variability, electrodermal activity, pain tolerance, temperature) outcomes. Further, potential side effects of CBG (sleepiness/fatigue, dry mouth/eyes, increased appetite, and dizziness nausea) will be assessed. First-degree relatives of people with inflammatory bowel disease ("IBD," including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis) have an increased risk for developing IBD themselves. This study will follow unaffected first-degree relatives (who do not have IBD) over time to understand if their behaviors, diet, and biomarkers for IBD can help predict who gets IBD and if IBD can be prevented in these high-risk individuals. Participants will be asked once per year to complete a questionnaire and have their blood, stool, and urine collected. The anticipated length of the study (registry) is approximately 10 years or longer. Parts of this study, such as the questionnaires and stool and urine collection, may be done from home, while other parts, such as the blood draw, will need to be done from Massachusetts General Hospital. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if serial amnioinfusions can improve the chances of survival for fetuses with severe kidney problems that cause low amniotic fluid (anhydramnios). Low amniotic fluid can affect lung development and may lead to serious health issues for the fetus. The main questions this study aims to answer are: * Can serial amnioinfusion increase the chances of survival for these fetuses? * Does this procedure improve chances of survival until dialysis and/or kidney transplant? Participants will: * Receive regular amnioinfusions, which is a procedure that adds fluid to the amniotic cavity. * Undergo monitoring to check the effects on the fetus and mother. This study will help researchers understand if amnioinfusion is a useful treatment for fetal kidney problems and may provide valuable information for similar cases in the future. Read Less

The Metrix COVID Test will be evaluated for use in Point-of-Care and Non-Laboratory settings in a home testing environment utilizing the clinical study design described herein. The study will take place in simulated home environments which will be set up within or near active clinical settings (e.g., urgent care facilities). This will be a prospective study conducted at three or more investigational sites located within the United States for the clinical validation of the Metrix COVID Test for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 AN swab samples. Additional sites may be added to the study in order to meet minimum subject/sample enrollment requirements and geographic prevalence of respiratory virus infections. Comparator testing will be performed to determine the infection status of each sample for comparison to results generated by the candidate test.
