The goal of this clinical trial is to compare ARINA-1 plus Standard of Care vs Standard of Care alone. The main question it aims to answer are: * Evaluate the effectiveness of ARINA-1 in preventing bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome (BOS) progression in participants with a bilateral lung transplant * To evaluate the effectiveness of ARINA-1 on improving quality of life decline and preventing or delaying the use of augmented immunosuppression in participants with pre-BOS relative to SOC. Participants will have clinic visits at screening, randomization (day 1) and weeks 4, 12, 18, and 24. After week 24, participants will have clinic visits at weeks 32, 40, and 48. Participants will also have a telehealth visit on day 2 and phone calls to assess adverse events (AEs), serious adverse events (SAEs), and review patient education will occur during weeks 5, 8, 36, and 44. This is a prospective cohort study of individuals purchasing the oral contraceptive pill over the counter (OTC) in pharmacies in 32 US states. The comparison group is people receiving a prescription (Rx) for oral contraception. Both groups will be followed for one year to examine contraceptive continuation rates. This study will also identify who is using the pill OTC and why and evaluate differences in pregnancy intention and measures of contraceptive agency between the two groups. Read Less

This clinical trial is being conducted by investigators who are colorectal surgeons. Eligible study participants will receive the experimental treatment E-CEL UVEC cells by direct injection into the anal fissure. The study is being conducted to determine if E-CEL UVEC cell injections will be safe and would have any effects on healing of the anal fissure. Read Less

Childhood cancer survivors are vulnerable to treatment-related late effects, including physical and psychosocial morbidities, subsequent malignancies, and premature death. Symptom assessment provides a unique insight into survivorship care since symptoms not only indicate the manifestation for the occurrence of chronic health conditions, but also impact quality of life and survival. The National Cancer Institute (NCI) has developed a Patient-Reported Outcomes version of the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (PRO-CTCAE) to assess symptomatic adverse events (AEs) for adult-onset cancer patients who are receiving cancer therapies. However, content-appropriate and clinically validated symptom assessment tools for adult survivors of childhood cancer are not available. Study CC-91633-AML-001 is a Phase 1, open-label, dose escalation and expansion, first-in-human (FIH) clinical study of CC-91633 (BMS-986397) in participants with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (R/R AML) or in participants with relapsed or refractory higher-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (R/R HR-MDS). The Dose Escalation part (Part A) of the study will enroll participants with R/R AML and R/R HR-MDS and will evaluate the safety and tolerability of escalating doses of CC-91633 (BMS-986397), administered orally, and determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) or preliminary recommended Phase 2 doses (RP2D) and schedule. Throughout the study, final decisions on dose escalation/de-escalation will be made by the safety review committee (SRC). Approximately 60 participants may be enrolled in Part A of the study. The expansion part (Part B) will confirm tolerability of the selected doses and schedules and evaluate whether efficacy is in a range that warrants further clinical development. In this study, the investigators aim to compare a mobile health platform, known as a 'chatbot,' that leverages artificial intelligence and natural language processing to scale communication, to 'usual care' that patients would receive. This comparison will enable the investigators to determine if the chatbot system can improve rates of recommendation for genetic testing among patients at elevated risk of harboring a familial cancer syndrome in an all-Medicaid gynecology clinic. With the growth of hospice, older adults have the opportunity to receive home-based care aimed at reducing suffering and focusing on quality of life at the end of life. While use of technology and educational videos has yet to be fully developed, structured, and evaluated in home hospice care, it has shown promise to improve care in other settings. This clinical trial study has two goals. The first goal is to establish fitness levels, participation in physical activities, and fine/gross motor abilities for children with development language disorder (DLD). DLD occurs in 1/13 children and children with DLD often have poorer fine/gross motor skills than those with typical development. The second goal is to determine whether physical exercise helps children with DLD and typical development to learn better and improve fitness and fine/gross motor abilities more than participating in restful play activities. All children (DLD and typically developing) will undergo communication, fine/gross motor and fitness testing. Children will be randomly assigned to participate in an exercise program (n =20) or to a restful play program (n = 20). Both programs will take place 3x/week for 6 weeks and children will only participate in one of the two programs. Children in the exercise program will do activities to train cardiovascular fitness, agility, balance, strength, and endurance while children in the restful play condition will do things like play with legos and color.
