A Study to Evaluate ENERGI-F703 GEL in Diabetic Foot Ulcer
Recruiting
This Phase 3 study is a randomized, double-blind, vehicle-controlled, multiple-center, parallel study to evaluate efficacy and safety of ENERGI-F703 GEL compared with vehicle control in subjects with Wagner Grade 1 to Grade 2 diabetic foot ulcers. Baseline target ulcer size (\<16 cm2 vs ≄16 cm2 ) will be included as a stratification factor. Subjects will be randomized 1:1 to receive ENERGI-F703 GEL or vehicle control using an interactive web response system for randomization to automatically ass... Read More

Graded Exposure and Mindfulness Meditation for Patients Post-ACL Reconstruction
Recruiting
To evaluate the effect of graded exposure and mindfulness meditation after ACLR, the investigators will determine the effect of graded exposure and mindfulness meditation to 1) decrease self-reported injury-related fear and reinjury anxiety, and 2) improve lower extremity reaction time when compared to a waitlist control group.

Anterior Cruciate Ligament Recovery With Virtual Psychological Intervention
Recruiting
The goal of this parallel arm prospective randomized control trial study is to compare outcomes in Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction (ACLR) Surgery patients after exposure to a virtual psychological intervention (VPI) versus standard care. The main question the investigators are asking is if virtual administration of psychological CBT modules will be an accessible and convenient vehicle to improve ACLR outcomes. Participants will be placed either into a treatment group receiving virtual... Read More

The HOME Study (Healthy Options Made Easy): Telehealth Nutrition Sessions for People Living With Brain Injury
Recruiting
Brain injury is a leading cause of disability in the United States. When survivors of brain injury recover from the initial injury and return home to live in the community, they often face chronic health conditions that warrant nutrition therapy, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and overweight and obesity. Typically, these individuals do not receive nutrition counseling. Thus, the purpose of this clinical trial is to compare changes in diet quality between community-dwel... Read More

MIRAI-MRI: Comparing Screening MRI for Patients at High Risk for Breast Cancer Identified by Mirai and Tyrer-Cuzick
Recruiting
Accurate risk assessment is essential for the success of population screening programs and early detection efforts in breast cancer. Mirai is a new deep learning model based on full resolution mammograms. Mirai is a mammography-based deep learning model designed to predict risk at multiple timepoints, leverage potentially missing risk factor information, and produce predictions that are consistent across mammography machines. Mirai was trained on a large dataset from Massachusetts General Hospi... Read More

Effect of High-Intensity Exercise to Attenuate Cognitive Function Limitations and Train Exercise Habits in Older People Living With HIV
Recruiting
People aging with HIV are at higher risk for Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, and although physical activity is a promising target to mitigate such risk, this population engages in low levels of physical activity. Few studies have tested cognitive effects of exercise interventions or examined mechanisms of adherence to long-term exercise among diverse samples of midlife and older people with HIV. The current study will leverage an existing R01 to address these gaps and provide implicat... Read More

Evaluation of the Impact of Empty Versus Full Bladder in Patients with Prostate Cancer, RELIEF Trial
Recruiting
This clinical trial evaluates the effects of an empty bladder versus (vs.) a full bladder prior to undergoing a computed tomography (CT) simulation for radiation therapy in patients with prostate cancer. Radiation therapy is a commonly used treatment for men diagnosed with prostate cancer. Prior to initiation of a course of radiotherapy, all patients with prostate cancer undergo a CT simulation that allows for computer-based optimization of radiation dose delivery to the target tissue (i.e., pro... Maternal Mental Health Access - MaMa
Recruiting
This hybrid effectiveness-implementation project will allow the team to evaluate and refine implementation in preparation for future multisite trials to ultimately move the Evidence-Based Intervention (EBI) to scale among diverse populations. The plan is to enroll 120 at-risk pregnant and postpartum women from rural, urban, and Latino populations. Using a randomized preference design to also evaluate patient and sociocultural factors in participation and symptom trajectory. Using the Implementa... Read More

Effect of Short-chain Fatty Acids on Aerobic Endurance
Recruiting
Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study designed to determine the effects of increasing colonic short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) content on aerobic endurance in healthy adults, and to identify underpinning mechanisms. In random order, healthy physically active adults will consume provided diets low in fiber and supplemented with SCFA-enriched high amylose maize starch (a poorly digested resistant starch considered a fermentable fiber) or low amylose maize starch (a rapidly dige... Managing Anxiety in Pediatric Primary Care (MAPP)
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical trial is to conduct a randomized controlled trial to enhance the capacity of pediatric primary care providers to assist their patients who struggle with anxiety. The study aims to refine and assess the feasibility of the Anxiety Action Plan (AxAP), a brief intervention to reduce pediatric anxiety, delivered by primary care providers (PCPs) in community pediatric primary care clinics. The goal of the AxAP is to enhance the capacity of PCPs to identify and intervene with... Read More
