Development of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Techniques for Studying Mood and Anxiety Disorders
Recruiting
This study is intended to help develop new MRI imaging techniques for studying mood and anxiety disorders. Researchers believe that depression and anxiety disorders may cause structural and functional changes in the brain. This study will optimize the way MRI scans are collected to look at brain structure and examine how the brain behaves while subjects perform particular tasks. Healthy volunteers and individuals with major depressive disorder may be eligible for this study.

Care of the Prostate Cancer Patient and Prospective Procurement of Prostate Cancer Tissue
Recruiting
Background:
Prostate cancer is the most common noncutaneous cancer among men in the U.S. Researchers want to study blood, tissue, and fluid samples of people with prostate cancer. This will help them understand any changes in cells and genes. These changes might lead to the development and progression of prostate cancer. Researchers think the study could lead to new treatments.
Objective:
To understand the changes in cells and genes that lead to the development and progression of prostate can... Read More

Twenty male and female (ages 18-70) participants with OUD currently receiving methadone or buprenorphine will be enrolled. Prior to their daily methadone or buprenorphine dose and thus at trough plasma levels of opioid, participants will receive dronabinol (2.5 mg, 5mg) or placebo. Subsequently, all participants will undergo laboratory testing of opioid-related outcomes. Pain sensitivity will be measured using a technique called the (QST) quantitative sensory testing, which involves the administ... Read More
