The goal of this randomized trial is to test whether the Internet-Delivered Enhanced Assess, Acknowledge, Act (IDEA3) sexual assault resistance education intervention reduces sexual violence victimization in undergraduate women. Participants in the intervention group will be asked to attend four three-hour group sessions of a sexual assault resistance program called IDEA3 with a partner, as well as fill out a number of surveys. Participants in the control group will be asked to attend a one-hour consent workshop with a partner and fill out surveys. Cardiac rehabilitation (CR) is a secondary prevention program for patients with cardiovascular disease (CVD). It is especially valuable as CVD increasingly occurs in combination with comorbidity, frailty, and complexities of care that predispose patients to functional decline, disability, and high costs. Still, few Veterans participate in CR, in part because of the difficult logistics to attend. Promising Practice home-based CR (HBCR) was developed to increase CR participation, but many Veterans remain too limited by comorbidity and frailty for participation. A Transition to CR (T2CR) intervention is a face-to-face program that fosters vital skills, education, insights, motivation, and patient-provider relationships conducive to successful HBCR thereafter. This study compares Veterans eligible for CR who are randomized to T2CR intervention versus usual care. Differences in functional capacity, HBCR participation, and healthy days at home are compared over one year. Patients' experiences and providers' perspectives of barriers and facilitators to T2CR are also compared. Read Less

This trial aims to demonstrate that the Neuralert Monitoring System will detect strokes before they would be identified by current standard of care. Each patient will be monitored for up to five days, depending on device connectivity or battery duration. Each monitoring session will consist of wearing a Neuralert device on each arm. For this pilot trial, we are interested in learning about Wi-Fi connectivity, successful data transmission, integration into clinical workflow, usability and tolerability. Read Less

This is a multi-center, randomized single-blind nonsurgical trial conducted in approximately 216 primiparous postpartum women at high risk for prolonged/sustained pelvic floor disorders with symptomatic, bothersome urinary incontinence (UI) amenable to nonsurgical treatment. TULIP is a 3-Arm trial with two active interventions (Arms 1 and 2) and a Patient Education control arm (Arm 3). Arm 1 consists of pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT). Arm 2 uses a home biofeedback device (leva®). The primary outcome will be assessed at 6 months postpartum by blinded outcomes assessors, and follow-up will continue until 12 months postpartum.
