The trial will include a randomized control trial to evaluate the efficacy of using Cannabidiol (CBD), a non-intoxicating cannabinoid, as an adjunctive to Prolonged Exposure therapy (PE). The trial will compare PE + CBD to PE + placebo in a sample of 136 military Veterans with PTSD at the VA San Diego Medical Center. The study represents the logical and innovative next step for augmenting existing treatments and developing novel pharmacotherapy for PTSD. Findings from the proposed RCT will inform clinical practice and policy by investigating whether administration of CBD in the context of PE therapy will improve treatment outcomes for military Veterans with PTSD. The Childhood Cancer Predisposition Study (CCPS) is a multi-center, longitudinal, observational study that will collect clinical and biological data and specimens from children with a cancer predisposition syndromes (CPS) and their relatives. The central hypothesis is that studying individuals at high risk for childhood cancer creates a unique opportunity for improving the understanding of carcinogenesis, tumor surveillance, early detection, and cancer prevention, which will collectively contribute to improving care and outcomes for pediatric patients with cancer and those with cancer predisposition syndromes (CPS). The purpose of the research is to determine whether a class of medication called SGLT2 inhibitor will improve the heart's function and reduce its enlargement after a heart attack. Participation in this study will involve taking this class of medication (or a placebo) once daily for six months, one cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) test during your initial hospitalization, follow-up phone calls at 1 and 3 months, and one cardiac MRI and clinic visit at six months. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the Pacifier Activated Lullaby (PAL) intervention on the transition to oral feeding for preterm infants with chronic lung disease and respiratory distress syndrome that require non-invasive respiratory support at 34 weeks PMA. This study will utilize a clinical trial design. Participants will be randomized into two groups. One group will receive the PAL intervention, the other group serving as a no contact control. Participants will be matched based on sex, gestational age at birth, and neurologic injury. Infants in the intervention group will receive two PAL sessions a week until successfully transitioned to \<2L of respiratory support and then receive one PAL session within 24 hours of their first oral feeding attempt. The proposed project seeks to elucidate memory processes and consolidation during sleep by leveraging the unique capability of direct recordings from the human brain at multiple levels of resolution-single neurons, localized neuronal assemblies, intracranial local field potentials-during rich behavioral tasks with real-life narratives and extracting neural features that relate to different aspects of episodic experience. Severe itch is a common symptom of many genetic skin disorders and leads to a negative impact on patient quality of life. The investigators hypothesize that: a) intervention with dupilumab will improve itch in patients with pruritic genetic inflammatory skin disorders, even those not recognized to be Th2-driven; and b) the administration of dupilumab will be well-tolerated, regardless of underlying genetic skin disorder. The total clinical study duration will be 26 months (104 Weeks). The goal of this Phase 1 clinical study is test tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (known as C-TIL051) with NKTR-255 and anti-PD1 therapy for subjects with refractory non-small cell lung cancer. The purpose of this study is to: 1. Test the safety and ability for subjects to tolerate the TIL therapy 2. Measure to see how the NSCLC responds to the TIL therapy Participants will be asked to: * Provide a tumor sample prior to the start of any treatment which will be used to make the C-TIL051. * Receive standard of care treatment until their lung cancer no longer responds * When necessary, the C-TIL051 will be manufactured by the sponsor and sent back to the site * Subject will then receive chemotherapy (called lymphodepletion) for 3 days followed by 2 days of rest * C-TIL051 will then be infused on day 0 followed by NKTR-255 (IL-15) about 12 to 24 hours later * Pembrolizumab will be administered every 3 weeks for up to 2 years NKTR-255 is a novel polymer-conjugated human IL-15 receptor agonist molecule designed to increase the proliferation and survival of memory CD8+ T cells and enhance the formation of long-term immunological memory which may lead to sustained anti-cancer immune response. The combination of NKTR 255 and TIL's could improve proliferation and persistence of cellular therapies leading to enhanced anti-tumor activity. Read Less
