A parent's ability to support children at play while being playful contributes to their psychological adjustment. The proposed tier 1, strengths-based educational program for parents of children aged 2 to 5 years with and without disabilities combines elements of a play-based approach and tips on effective parenting to support children's development by equipping parents with knowledge and empowering them to become change agents in their children's lives. The goal of this randomized study is to learn if adding three additional parent training sessions (focused on alleviating parental stress) to an already well-established treatment (School Readiness Parenting Program \[SRPP\]) in improving outcomes up to 6- and 12-months later for families of children with disruptive behavior disorders. The main questions it aims to answer are: The primary objective of this protocol is to evaluate the effects of three additional cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) based parent training sessions to the SRPP to reduce parent stress and improve parent-child interactions. The secondary objective of this protocol is to evaluate the behavioral, emotional, and physical health-based functioning among young children with ADHD. Researchers will compare families who receive the SRPP alone to families who receive the SRPP + the three additional CBT focused sessions. Parents will be sent surveys to complete prior to the baseline assessment via REDCap (online). Parent and child participants will undergo 2 hours of baseline assessments evaluating behavioral, cognitive, and academic functioning as well as parent-child interactions. The investigators are working on a project to help people who have had mild brain injuries hear better. Sometimes, these injuries can make it hard for people to hear clearly, especially in noisy places or when trying to tell where sounds are coming from. The project is testing special training exercises that have helped healthy people improve their hearing in these situations. The goal is to see if these exercises can also help people with mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI). If these exercises work, they could help doctors give better treatment to people with hearing problems after a brain injury. This would be especially helpful for soldiers who need to stay ready for duty. It could also make life better for veterans who struggle with hearing issues and help lower the cost of healthcare. The researchers think that the use of advanced MR imaging may help people with this disease, because it may better predict areas within a malignant glioma (brain tumor) that are at a high risk of recurring. The Gastric Cancer Registry will combine data acquired directly from patients with gastric cancer; with a family history of gastric cancer in a first or second degree relative; or persons with a known germline mutation in their CDH1 (E-Cadherin) gene via an online questionnaire with genomic data obtained from saliva, blood and tissue samples. The purpose of this registry is to gain better understanding of the causes of gastric cancer, both environmental and genetic; whether certain genomic data can predict outcomes of treatment and survival. The purpose of the study is to develop a prognostic index model for the rare disease of mycosis fungoides and sezary syndrome. This will be done by collecting standardized clinical data at various institutions. This pilot study will explore whether treatment of eosinophilic inflammation in the esophagus is associated with an improved distensibility of the esophagus. Furthermore, previous studies of the esophagus using EndoFlip only measured distensibility of the distal esophagus, specifically the distal esophagus and esophagogastric junction. Eosinophilia in EoE has been demonstrated to affect both upper, middle and lower esophagus. The aim is to measure distensibility both proximal and distal, before and after treatment. Read Less

This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of multi-antigen cytomegalovirus (CMV)-modified vaccinia ankara vaccine and to see how well it works in treating pediatric patients with positive cytomegalovirus who are undergoing donor stem cell transplant. Multi-antigen CMV-modified vaccinia ankara vaccine may help people resist CMV life-threatening complications. Read Less

The SMR Stemless Reverse is intended for total, primary shoulder joint replacement by reducing pain and restoring shoulder articular mobility function. This is a prospective, multi-center, randomized, controlled trial to demonstrate non-inferiority of the SMR Stemless Reverse to the SMR Reverse Shoulder System. Patients with joint dysfunction who continue to experience significant symptoms despite an appropriate course of non-operative management are eligible. Patients will be considered enrolled into the study when an ICF has been signed, all inclusion criteria are met and no exclusion criteria are present including intraoperative exclusion criteria, and the patient is randomized into either the SMR Stemless Reverse (investigational) group, the SMR Reverse Shoulder System (control) group or is part of the roll-in population. There are no current or past RCT comparing biologic augments for meniscal repair. There is good data supporting both the use of BMVP of the intercondylar notch and intra-articular PRP injections for augmentation of meniscal repair. However, the effectiveness of these augmentation methods with respect to each other has never been investigated. The knowledge gained will allow us to potentially influence and adapt protocols to treat this particular patient population. Additionally, resources available at our institution provide a supportive framework with which to maintain contact with patients after hospital discharge. These key factors will allow us to perform a robust analysis of this population, to include outcomes measures of function as well as meniscal repair failure and reoperation rate. The proposed interventional aim to compare meniscal repair augmentation methods is novel, as the direct comparison of these outcome measures has not been previously described. Because of the known benefit of biologic augmentation of meniscal repair, the investigators hypothesize that the repair failure rate for both cohorts will be lower than the reported repair failure rate for isolated tears without biologic augmentation; the investigators also hypothesize that BMVP of the intercondylar notch will clinically be significantly better than intra-articular PRP injection. The basis behind this hypothesis is in vivo evidence as well as a small RCT supporting the use of BMVP as augmentation for meniscal repair procedures. Read Less
