Dynamic digital radiography (DDR) is a new advanced version of chest radiography that captures dynamic images at a rate of 15 frames per second. It is coupled with an analytical software that allows it to provide more advanced measures of lung motion, ventilation, and perfusion compared to traditional chest radiography. While implementation of DDR fixed machines are beginning elsewhere in the US, this trial involves the first applications of an FDA-approved portable DDR machine, for use at the bedside in the ICU. The goal of this clinical trial is to determine the feasibility and safety of portable DDR technology in the ICU, as well as to evaluate the improved clinical diagnostic value of the portable DDR system over current standards of care. Participants will receive one to three sets of DDR images, which will then be compared to their clinical gold standard exams (such as chest x-rays, CTs, or VQ scans) to assess and improve the precision and accuracy of measurements such as diaphragmatic motion, lung movement, and perfusion. The purpose of this study is to assess the utility of renal near infrared spectroscopy in the outpatient setting during the interstage period. The primary aim will be to determine the correlation between oxygen extraction ratio ((arterial pulse oximetry - renal near infrared spectroscopy value)/arterial pulse oximetry value) with need for inpatient admission or intervention. Secondary aims will be to determine the correlation of the oxygen extraction ratio with weight gain, neurodevelopment, unexpected admissions, systemic ventricular strain by echocardiography, and Glenn hospitalization admission characteristics. Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist, primarily used for treatment of type-2 diabetes mellitus. GLP-1 receptors are present on pancreatic islet β-cells, δ-cells and α-cells. Their stimulation increases insulin and somatostatin secretion, and decreases glucagon secretion. In addition, GLP-1 receptor agonists appear to have multiple extrapancreatic actions, which remain poorly defined. In large clinical trials, semaglutide improved the outcomes in obese patients, patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, and decreased the heart failure hospitalizations in patients with type 2 diabetes. In this study the effects of diabetic peripheral neuropathy will be assessed on balance control, balance recovery, and muscle electrical activity in adults over 50 years. Aim 1: Determine muscle activity and balance control during a sit-to-stand in adults age above 50 with and without diabetic peripheral neuropathy. The purpose of the study is to evaluate peri-radicular healing after root-end surgery using Leukocyte and Platelet Rich Fibrin. The study population includes patients diagnosed with persistent periapical pathology and scheduled for Endodontic Microsurgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Department of Endodontics. Patients undergoing routine endodontic microsurgery and who meet the inclusion criteria will be given the opportunity to opt in to receive L-PRF in the osteotomy site to promote bone formation. People who experience repeated bouts of circadian misalignment, such as shift workers, are at higher risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and Type 2 diabetes (T2D) compared to daytime workers. However, the mechanism(s) by which shift work and associated circadian misalignment increase CVD and T2D risk are unknown. This project will examine whether elevated plasma lipids are a mechanism by which circadian misalignment impairs vascular function, insulin sensitivity, glucose homeostasis and muscle lipid accumulation, which could be targeted to prevent and treat cardiometabolic disease in people who chronically experience circadian misalignment, which includes more than 20% of the US workforce. Although there are an increasing number of mental health treatment adaptations for older adults, there are still a number of factors to consider when making these adaptations. Cognitive decline is one such factor that places significant burden on older adults and can interfere with traditional mental health therapies. Engage is a behavioral treatment approach that has shown to be effective in treating late life depression. The investigators are testing the feasibility of Engage as a treatment method for late life depression in older adults with cognitive decline. The objective is to corroborate Engage as an alternative late life depression treatment method for a sub-population of older adults with cognitive decline. Cognitive decline poses a unique mental health treatment barrier that is often over looked in younger populations. With a relatively higher prevalence of cognitive decline in older adulthood, it is imperative that a feasible mental health treatment program that can be effective in the presence of cognitive decline. This project aims to answer whether the use of a Neurally-Adjusted Ventilatory Assistance mode for non-invasive ventilation in pediatric patients with bronchiolitis results in improved comfort and reduced escalations in therapy (including intubation) when compared to using a standard mode of non-invasive ventilation. Neurally-Adjusted Ventilatory Assistance (NAVA) has been shown to result in greater synchrony then the standard mode of non-invasive ventilation. The study team hypothesizes that this improved synchrony can result in important clinical improvements when NAVA is used to treat children with bronchiolitis. Read Less

The goal of this clinical trial is to define a safe and effective dose of DM919 for participants with solid tumors The main questions it aims to answer are: What is the safe and effective dose of DM919 when used alone or in combination with pembrolizumab? What cancers can be treated effectively with DM919 alone or in combination with pembrolizumab?? Participants will be asked to attend clinic and be given a intravenous infusion of DM919 or DM-919 in combination with pembrolizumab.
