This study is for people who have multiple sclerosis, acute leukemia (in remission), or long-COVID and a Body Mass Index over 27 and may struggle with cognitive issues such as remembering information, concentrating, or making decisions that affect everyday life. By doing this study, researchers hope to learn how liraglutide (Saxenda®), a weight loss drug, affects levels of a certain disease marker in the body called Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF). This study will implement a Western Diet (WD) to understand cardiometabolic and immune function in middle-aged adults (50- 64 years old). Purpose. The purpose of this study is to test sleep and wake-promoting countermeasures to evaluate their effectiveness in helping individuals fall asleep quickly, maintain sleep during a nap, and maintain alertness during waking. Protocol Overview. The proposed study involves two laboratory visits separated by at least one week. Participants are required to complete all procedures in the companion screening and at-home protocol in order to qualify for this laboratory protocol. The at-home protocol involves keeping a regular schedule for 2-3 weeks. Participants will need to maintain a regular schedule with at least 8.5 hours in bed for at least one week prior to the first laboratory visit. They will then continue the at-home protocol, maintaining at least 8.5 hours in bed each night for at least a week before completing the second laboratory visit. There are two interventions that participants will experience during the study, sleep promoting (pink noise) and wake promoting (blue enriched lighting plus a nap). These will be delivered separately and together depending on randomization. Participants will first be randomized to one of three conditions sleep promoting + wake placebo, sleep placebo + wake promoting, or sleep promoting + wake promoting. All participants will complete a sleep placebo + wake placebo condition. The order of the full placebo condition versus the intervention (i.e., lab visit 1 vs. lab visit 2) will be randomized after the condition randomization occurs. This study compares different music therapy (MT) experiences and their impact on memory and language in patients with Alzheimer's disease and Mild Cognitive Impairment. The 12-month study will assess the role of common experiences involving familiar music and other pleasant events (blinded control) to benefit cognition and measure the quality of life for people with Alzheimer's disease and Mild Cognitive Impairment. Following screening, all participants will meet with a licensed music therapist at the first study visit. Thereafter, each group will have an individualized schedule of follow-up telephone calls and visits. * Endoscopic strip craniectomy (ESC) with post-operative helmeting is the gold-standard treatment for isolated, non-syndromic sagittal craniosynostosis in children under 6 months of age as it is has been demonstrated to reduce perioperative morbidity when compared to more invasive procedures such as cranial vault remodeling. ESC is frequently performed with or without the use of lateral osteotomies with technical selection being largely based on surgeon preference. * Previous studies have shown that there are no statistically significant differences in cranial expansion or complications between the two procedure variants; however, these studies are retrospective in nature and do not account for aesthetic outcomes. * The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy of ESC with or without the use of lateral osteotomies in regard to cranial expansion and aesthetic outcomes for children treated with isolated, non-syndromic sagittal craniosynostosis. In addition, we seek to investigate if there are any observable changes in perioperative morbidity between the two procedures. Read Less
