Home care workers (HCWs) are at-risk for chronic pain and associated problems, including emotional distress, opioid use and misuse, and work-related disability. To address these issues, the proposed study will adapt an established peer-led and supportive group program to address the needs of HCWs with chronic pain. The new program, named COMPASS for Navigating Pain (COMPASS-NP), will integrate work-based injury protections with pain education and cognitive-behavioral therapy strategies for pain self-management in order to reduce pain interference with HCWs' work and life, and advance their safety, health, and well-being. This clinical trial aims to learn about the alterations in insulin resistance and metabolic flexibility following a transition to an obesogenic lifestyle in fit young men and women. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Does adding excess carbohydrates when transitioning to a sedentary lifestyle promote insulin resistance and impaired 24hr glucose regulation in healthy men and women? 2. The goal of this clinical trial is to test the effect of a mindset management intervention on stress levels in women with infertility. The main question it aims to answer is: Can the Organic Conceptions approach decrease stress levels in women with infertility? Participants in both groups will be asked to complete three surveys at three time points. The intervention group will complete the Organic Conceptions program, while the control group will not complete an intervention. Myotonic dystrophy is associated with central sleep apnea, excessive daytime sleepiness, diminished working memory, impaired visuospatial skills, and deficits in problem-solving skills. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is a clear, colorless fluid that surrounds and protects the brain. Changes in the composition of CSF can serve as early indicators of changes in brain activity and function. The purpose of this research is to learn about myotonic dystrophy by examining cerebrospinal fluid and brain activity in participants. The tests will be low risk and are well tolerated. The goal of this clinical trial is to identify sex-specific biomarkers that confer greater susceptibility for Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) and differentiate how treatment response varies by sex in people with Alcohol Use Disorder. The main questions it aims to answer are: * How does trauma affect emotion regulation, inflammation, and limbic function, and what are the sex-dependent effects of NTX (Naltrexone) on these aspects? * What is the mechanism of Naltrexone (NTX), and how does it potentially moderate reductions in alcohol use through changes in or interactions between emotion regulation, inflammation, or limbic system function? Participants will * Be consented and will undergo comprehensive screening for eligibility criteria * Complete behavioral assessments and neuropsychological assessments, as well as neurocognitive assessments and neuroimaging measures * Provide urine samples for a urine drug screen (UDS) and urine pregnancy test (for women), and have blood and a cheek swab collected and stored in the repository * Take a study drug once daily for 12 weeks and track drug usage and effects in a study journal * Undergo weekly assessment calls and bi-weekly medical follow-up safety exams Researchers will compare naltrexone to placebo in AUD to see if naltrexone is effective in reducing alcohol cravings and promoting abstinence. The goal of this observational study is to compare the impact of eccentric resistance training to traditional resistance training on fatigue in persons with multiple sclerosis (MS). The primary question this study is asking is the following: is eccentric resistance training more fatiguing than traditional resistance training in persons with MS?. Participants will be asked to come for two sessions for two weeks. In the first week, subjects will undergo a bout of either traditional or eccentric resistance training. The next day they will return to assess their level of fatigue. The following week the subject will return and undergo whatever type of training they did not experience the first week, and it's effects on fatigue will again be assessed. The difference between the subjects level of fatigue for either condition will be compared. Read Less

The goal of this observational study is to quantify ergonomic risk associated with traditional protective equipment in operators working in the cardiac catheterization laboratory as compared with a mobile protection system. The main questions it aims to answer is: What is the mean time spent by operators in positions of high ergonomic postural risk during cases?
