This is a single-site, sham-controlled, randomized trial in a total of 60 subjects between ages 18 and 40 years with schizophrenia. This study will investigate the effects of 4-week rTMS treatment on brain and cognitive functions in patients. Subjects will be randomized to one of the following arms: Arm 1: Standard of Care (SOC) and active rTMS Arm 2: Standard of Care (SOC) and sham rTMS Each participant will receive rTMS five days per week, for four consecutive weeks. Stage A: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of red blood cells (RBCs) prepared with the INTERCEPT Blood System for Red Blood Cells Pathogen Reduction Treatment (PRT) in comparison to conventional RBCs in patients who require RBC transfusion support. Stage B: To provide early access to the INTERCEPT pathogen reduction system for RBC in regions where a substantial proportion of the population has been infected or is at risk of a transfusion-transmissible infection. Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) is a size-independent treatment option for benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) as recommended by the American Urological Association (AUA) Guidelines. Loop diuretics (furosemide) have been given historically during the morcellation portion of HoLEP to promote urine production in the post-operative setting and to minimize the impact of fluid absorption during long periods of morcellation. The intra-operative use of 20mg IV furosemide in perioperative HoLEP pathways has been propagated with the dissemination of HoLEP across North America without evidence to support its routine administration. With increasing surgical efficiency from improvements in laser and morcellator technology, the role of intra-operative furosemide is unknown. The purpose of the randomized control trial is to estimate the effect of an oncology clinical nurse specialist-led early intervention multidisciplinary approach to palliative and survivorship care within two previously identified and validated patient groups having metastatic solid tumor malignancy on patient-reported symptom burden, patient-reported overall quality of life (QOL), distress, and overall survival. The primary hypothesis is that the effect of an oncology clinical nurse specialist- led early intervention multidisciplinary palliative and survivorship care model will be significantly higher, as compared to the standard of care approach to palliative and survivorship care, on the primary endpoint of patient-reported symptom burden for patients with metastatic solid tumor malignancy within favorable and very favorable risk groups. People post-stroke retain the capacity to modify walking patterns explicitly using biofeedback and implicitly when encountering changes in the walking environment. This proposal will assess changes in muscle activation patterns associated with walking modifications driven explicitly vs. implicitly, to determine whether individuals generate different amounts of co-contraction during explicit vs. implicit walking modifications. Understanding how walking modifications driven explicitly vs. implicitly influence co-contraction will allow the investigators to identify approaches that can more effectively restore muscle activation toward pre-stroke patterns, promoting mechanism-based recovery of walking function. The Flume catheter is a commercially available (FDA 510(k) cleared) urethral catheter with an innovative catheter design. The traditional Foley catheter design includes a protruding tip with drainage holes. The protruding tip may contribute to patient discomfort, pain and bladder spasms. The Flume catheter is designed such that the balloon envelops the tip on inflation, thus eliminating the protruding catheter tip, while the drainage holes are inset low in the balloon, providing protection to the bladder lining. Based on the change in design, the hypothesis of this observational cohort study is the Flume catheter will have better patient comfort scores (using validated patient reported outcomes measures) when compared to a traditional catheter. Sugar-sweetened beverages (SSBs) contribute an alarming \~7% of calories in the US diet among adults, making SSBs the single largest source of added sugar. However, whether artificially sweetened beverages are a healthful alternative for reducing SSB intake among habitual SSB consumers is unknown. Therefore, the investigators will conduct a 4-arm randomized diet intervention trial to test the effects of substituting SSBs with calorie-free alternatives on body weight and health, among habitual SSB consumers with overweight/obesity.
