This is a multi-center randomized controlled evaluator-masked trial designed to compare metagenomic deep sequencing (MDS) versus standard of care testing for improvement of outcomes for intraocular infections. Patients with presumed intraocular infections who meet the eligibility criteria will be randomized to receive MDS testing results or not to receive MDS testing results. All patients will receive standard-of-care testing to guide management. Enrolled patients will be followed at week 2, week 3-6 (randomization visit), and at 4 weeks after the randomization visit. The proportions of patients who received the appropriate therapy and the proportions of patients with improved outcome will be compared between arms. Moms will call and agencies will determine if she is eligible based on basic criteria. If she is eligible, the agency will send her an intake application link to complete, which includes a consent form. After completing the survey, if she is still eligible, she will be placed on a waitlist for services. When a bed becomes available in an individual agency, the agency will call two moms at the top of the waitlist, conduct in-person interviews to confirm eligibility and good fit. They will use a computer to randomly assign one to treatment and one to control. Agency will let moms know of their status and will allow the treatment mom to move in. Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography and endoscopic ultrasound are increasingly being used to manage complex disease of the bile duct, pancreas and cancer. Gastroenterology patients at the Los Angeles County Hospital presents a unique and diverse patient population. Our aim is to study the biochemical, radiographic, and clinical predictors of bile duct stones. Exploratory aims include the study of the management of cholangitis, bile leaks, GI cancer diagnosis and management, and the management of pancreaticobiliary problems in the underserved. All patients managed by EUS or ERCP at the LA County \& USC University Hospitals will be enrolled in the databaseThe timing, clinical presentation, and objective details of patient presentation are recorded prospectively. The purpose of this study is to develop a mechanism for utilizing the comprehensive clinical database of childhood cancer survivors at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) for research purposes. Using clinical information obtained from follow-up visits of childhood cancer survivors, the database will focus on interventions to improve health status and health-related quality of life in childhood cancer survivors. This study allows for establishment and analyses of a research database for LIFE survivors by the investigators listed herein. Over the last three decades, there has been marked improvement in survival following childhood cancer, with 5-year survival rates now approaching 80%. However, the use of cancer therapy at an early age can result in complications that may not be apparent until years later as the child matures. These resulting complications, called late effects, are principally related to the specific therapy employed and the age of the child at the time the therapy was administered. Late effects may affect virtually every body system and substantially impair quality of life. As many as two-thirds of childhood cancer survivors develop at least one late effect as a result of treatment, and approximately one-third have a late effect classified as severe or life threatening. The purpose of this study is to clinically evaluate the effects of a school-based behavioral intervention, CATCH Healthy Smiles, to reduce the risk of dental caries in a cohort of kindergarten through 2nd grade (K-2) children serving low-income, ethnically-diverse children,to determine the impact of CATCH Healthy Smiles on child behavioral, psychosocial, and environmental outcomes beginning in K through 2nd grade, compared to children in the control schools and to examine the extent to which the child behavioral, psychosocial, and environmental factors mediate the improvements in child caries risk. The Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey, Inc. (PMCH) is implementing a fatherhood project with the goal of strengthening father-child engagement, improving economic stability, and improving healthy marriage/relationship skills among participants. FELLAS serves community-based fathers 18 years of age or older who reside in Essex County, New Jersey and have at least one child under the age of 24. The program model has three components: to improve responsible parenting using 24/7 Dad, an evidence based curriculum; to improve healthy marriage/relationship skills using Couple Communication I, an evidence based relationship and marriage strengthening curriculum that includes home visits; and to improve economic stability using a comprehensive array of services designed to provide an employment assessment, strengthen basic technology skills, and strengthen pre-employment soft skills. Evaluation activities include a self-report questionnaire administered (1) immediately prior to beginning the program (pretest), (2) immediately after completion of the program (posttest), and (3) six months after the posttest.
