Randomized Trial of Exercise Promotion in Primary Care
Recruiting
Millions of Americans have diabetes or prediabetes, for which regular physical activity can reduce risks of unfavorable outcomes of these conditions. This study will test the effects of an evidence-based intervention in the primary care setting on increasing physical activity among these individuals. If effective, it can be broadly implemented in primary care.

Brain-based Understanding of Individual Language Differences After Stroke
Recruiting
Strokes often cause a loss of communication ability, referred to as aphasia, as well as cognitive difficulties. Each stroke survivor has a unique pattern of strengths and weaknesses in communication and cognition, and a unique course of recovery. The BUILD study aims to understand the brain basis of these individual differences in stroke outcome. Participants with stroke as well as controls matched in age, educational background, race, and sex are examined using a combination of standardized and... Read More

PyL in Patients With High Risk and Biochemically Recurrent Prostate Cancer
Recruiting
The standard of care imaging of prostate cancer metastases recommended by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), CT of the chest/abdomen/pelvis and bone scan, may be suboptimal. PyL is a novel PET tracer designed to detect prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA) expressed on prostate cancer cells. PyL PET/CT may provide improved evaluation of clinically significant metastases in patients with prostate cancer.

Safety, Tolerability, PK, and Analgesic Effect of INL-001 in Children Following Open Inguinal Hernia Repair
Recruiting
A multicenter, single-dose study in children 12 to <17 years of age, 6 to <12 years of age, and 2 to <6 years of age who are scheduled for elective open inguinal hernia repair. Enrollment in this study will start with the oldest age group (12 to <17 years) and will continue in a stepwise fashion until appropriate doses are established for all 3 pediatric age groups (12 to <17 years, 6 to <12 years, 2 to <6 years).

Novel Assessment of Synaptic Density in Progressive MS
Recruiting
The investigators propose to use the novel SV2a-PET ligand, [F-18]SDM-8 to assess synaptic density in progressive MS (including primary progressive multiple sclerosis (PPMS) and secondary progressive multiple sclerosis (SPMS)) as compared to relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) patients and healthy controls, given its improved imaging characteristics and potential for large scale applicability. The specific aims of the study are: Aim 1: To compare the cortical and subcortical grey mat... Read More

Phytochemicals on "Metabolic Aging" in Older Overweight Adults
Recruiting
Aging is a complex and inevitable biological process that is associated with numerous chronic health conditions and the development and progression of diseases. It is manifested partly by a progressive decline in fitness and an increase in death. The key to healthy aging is a healthy lifestyle, including eating a variety of healthy foods and frequently participating in physical activities. Supplements made from widely consumed plant products have the potential for promoting healthy aging. Howeve... Read More

Breast Mesh Used in Two-staged Breast Reconstruction
Recruiting
This is the first prospective randomized and controlled study on the efficacy and safety of TiLOOP® Bra mesh in patients with expander-implant breast reconstruction. The investigators hypothesize that incoporating TiLOOP Bra mesh with tissue expanders will reduce the rates of capsular contraction, improve the efficiency of expansion and provide better aesthetic result.
