This observational study collects data on blood neurotransmitter and neuromodulator levels of subjects observing Ramadan. Additional information collected are a diet record, mood and perceived stress using validated surveys at three time points: a) before starting Ramadan, b) at the midpoint evaluation, and c) at the end of Ramadan. Three additional dispositional factors collected at the beginning and at the end are: a) sense of belonging, b) purpose in life (sense of coherence), and c) empathy (interpersonal reactivity index). The investigators are researching families with inherited inclusion body myopathy (IBM) and/or Paget disease of bone (PDB) and/or dementia (FTD) which is also called IBMPFD. IBMPFD is caused by mutations in the VCP gene. Our main goal is to understand how changes in the VCP gene cause the muscle, bone and cognitive problems associated with the disease. The investigators are collecting biological specimen such as blood and urine samples, family and medical histories, questionnaire data of patients with a personal or family history of VCP associated disease. Participants do not need to have all symptoms listed above in order to qualify. A select group of participants may be invited to travel to University of California, Irvine for a two day program of local procedures such as an MRI and bone scan. The overall research objectives of the proposed project are to decrease the rate of recidivism, defined as returning to incarceration within three years of release, as well as reduce the number of violent offenses, through the successful implementation of a continuum of services that addresses the unique needs of the TBI population. RHI, in partnership with PCF and IU, will work together to accomplish these goals. To meet study objectives, this randomized controlled trial (RCT) will enroll 102 individuals with TBI who will be randomized into the Reentry Continuum for Brain Injury (RCBI) intervention or a TAU-CG. Participants will be screened for TBI eight months prior to release from PCF. Upon consenting to participate, all subjects will be evaluated before, during, and after the intervention and recidivism data will be collected through IDOC's Data Analysis and Technology Department. Adhesive capsulitis is a fairly common orthopedic condition that causes pain and loss of range of motion. There are a variety of ways to treat adhesive capsulitis, one of them being an intra-articular steroid injection. This is done to help decrease the inflammatory response caused by adhesive capsulitis. In this study, all participants will receive an intra-articular glenohumeral injection of ZILRETTA and will be followed up with at four time points over 1 year to observe pain, function and range of motion following the injection. The rate of screening for colorectal cancer (CRC) in the U.S. remains low (under 65%), meaning that thousands of people die of colorectal cancer unnecessarily. Colorectal cancer screening tests range from more invasive and very sensitive for polyps and cancer (colonoscopy) to less invasive and less sensitive (e.g., fecal immunochemical testing (FIT)). Screening rates go up when patients consider all these tests, not just colonoscopy. Informing patients about their options for CRC screening could produce higher quality decisions, improve the match between patient preferences and tests performed, and increase uptake of CRC screening. Decision aids (DAs) are a promising tool for accomplishing this goal. Also, precision CRC prevention - providing information about an individual's specific risk for CRC - has great promise to increase uptake and improve decision making. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic is causing severe challenges to providing CRC screening and other prevention services. Health systems are trying to adapt, but these efforts have only begun and are poorly understood. Moreover, patient perceptions of disease risk and risk from COVID-19 are unknown. Read Less
