This is a two-part study, comprised of an initial open-label run-in phase (Part 1) in a subset of 3 subjects to provide first data regarding safety, and feasibility of the percutaneous endovascular catheter-facilitated intramyocardial delivery of XC001 in patients with RA due to obstructive CAD. Part 1 of the study is comprised of 3 subjects with RA (CCS class II-IV) who will receive 4×1011 viral particles (vp) XC001. An Independent Data Monitoring Committee (IDMC), the committee will review safety and feasibility data and approval to commence enrollment in Part 2 of the study. Part 2 is a randomized, double-blind, sham-procedure control study. Subjects with RA (CCS class II-IV) with no therapeutic options will be randomized 1:1 to either the treatment group with catheter delivery of 4×1011 vp XC001 (approximately N=53) or a sham procedure group (approximately N=53). It is estimated that approximately 106 subjects will be randomized to result in 100 evaluable subjects. All subjects enrolled in Part 1, as well as Part 2 will follow all screening and safety monitoring procedures for up to 12 months (Table 2), and will be included in the safety analysis of the study. The purpose of this placebo-controlled trial is to compare the effects of 24-weeks supplementation with LPC-DHA and TAG-DHA on cerebrospinal fluid and blood DHA levels, as well as biomarkers of central neurodegenerative and neurotrophic activity, in elderly adults experiencing early signs of cognitive/memory decline. Extant evidence supports our overarching hypothesis that LPC-DHA supplementation will be more effective than TAG-DHA for increasing central (CSF) DHA levels and improving biomarker profiles in elderly adults. To assess this hypothesis, the following aims are proposed: SPECIFIC AIM 1: To compare the effects of LPC-DHA and TAG-DHA supplementation on peripheral and CSF DHA levels in elderly adults experiencing early signs of cognitive/memory decline. SPECIFIC AIM 2: To compare the effects of LPC-DHA and TAG-DHA supplementation on neurotrophic and neurodegenerative biomarkers. Two dietary supplements are each being compared to a placebo for the ability to help maintain triglycerides in the normal range. The subjects will be adult men and women with moderately high TG values. Serum triglycerides will be measured before and after 6 weeks of taking 1 capsule per day of either Longvida Curcumin, astaxanthin, or a placebo. A few side blood analysis will also be done. The goal of this observational study to measure the heart's microvascular function in the setting of a myocardial infarction (MI), or heart attack, using a method called continuous saline thermodilution (CST). The participants will include people who are experiencing MI from sudden and complete blockage of a coronary artery requiring immediate balloon and/or stent therapy. After getting the balloon and/or stent therapy, participants will have their heart's microvascular system tested using CST. The main questions it aims to answer are: * What measurements using CST can we expect from the heart's microvascular system during a treated MI? * Can CST measurements during a treated MI predict the amount of heart muscle that is injured and that recovers? For this study, participants will undergo measurement of their heart's microvascular function after balloon and/or stent therapy for the MI. They will then receive an MRI scan of the heart several days after the MI. Read Less
