Hypercholesterolemia is recognized as the major driver for cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. To help address this in our community, Atlantic Medical Group (AMG) formed a lipid workgroup chaired by Robert D. Fishberg, MD, and Jeffrey N. Feldman, MD. The overarching goal of the lipid workgroup is to enhance the treatment of lipid disorders in those patients with abnormal lipid levels by improving access to resources at the primary care practice level and specialty level. We aim to develop a model for primary and secondary prevention that integrates guidelines for treatment at the practice level. Children on the autism spectrum sometimes have difficulty learning new words and using the newly taught information in different situations. In this study, the investigators are testing whether strategies that have been found to improve word learning in non-autistic children will also help autistic children. Specifically, the investigators aim to test whether autistic children learn words more successfully if novel words are taught by repeating the words to the child (re-study) or if the novel words are taught first with labeling each word and then quizzing the child (repeated quizzing). The main questions it aims to answer are: * When teaching nouns (names of exotic animals), is learning stronger if autistic children re-study or engage in repeated quizzing of the newly taught words? * When teaching adjectives (visible features of objects, like a bumpy chair), is learning stronger if autistic children re-study or engage in repeated quizzing of the newly taught adjectives? * Does the word learning condition (re-study vs. repeated quizzing) impact whether autistic children are more successful in demonstrating their knowledge of the newly taught words in different contexts? * Are autistic features related to patterns of word learning? Participants will: * Learn new words with half of the words being taught in one way (re-study) and the other half of the words being taught in the other way (repeated quizzing). * Participate in 5-minute and 1-week tests of the newly taught words to measure child learning. * Complete other language, thinking, and autism clinical assessments. Few treatments target core features of suicidal thoughts and behaviors in Veterans. Real-time functional magnetic resonance imaging neurofeedback can provide information regarding brain activation associated with suicide-specific rumination, defined as a "repetitive mental fixation on one's suicidal thoughts and intentions." The goal of this feasibility study is for Veterans to learn strategies for modulating activity within brain regions that have been demonstrated to contribute to the maintenance of rumination, as they receive neurofeedback feedback signals from the brain. This study will evaluate if a direct-to-patient, de-centralized, remote approach will improve clinical research outreach and engagement for patients with SCLC, in the context of a bio-specimen collection study. The study will also assess self-reported preferences and needs of patients with SCLC, regarding choosing and accessing novel therapies in research or standard clinical care settings and supportive gaps in this area, through an initial and 3 month follow up survey. Aging-related functional declines are thought to be caused by hallmark biological processes that ultimately manifest in physical, mental, and metabolic impairments that compromise healthspan and quality of life. Exercise is a multipotent treatment with promise to mitigate most aging hallmarks, but there is substantial variability in exercisƒe responsiveness. Combining endurance and resistance training in alignment with public health guidelines will be used to better understand variable exercise responsiveness in older adults with the ultimate goal of improving each older adult's capacity to attain the many health benefits of exercise.
