Psilocybin Therapy for Chronic Low Back Pain

This study evaluates whether psilocybin therapy helps patients cope with chronic low back pain more effectively. Patients may be recruited at Stanford and University of California San Francisco (UCSF), study procedures will occur at UCSF. Each participant will receive a dose of psilocybin with possibly one or more other drugs. Participants will undergo two preparation sessions, a dosing session, three integration sessions to discuss their psilocybin experience, and several follow up sessions.

A New Clinical Model for the Engagement of Latinx Youth with Suicidal Behavior
Recruiting
This study will test a model of providing treatment to Latinx/Hispanic youth, who experience suicidal thoughts and behavior, and their caregivers. An affirmative and culturally relevant treatment will be provided to all youth and half of the families will be assigned to the additional support of a community health worker (CHW). Youth symptoms and family engagement to treatment will be followed for nine months. The potential benefit of adding the CHW intervention will be assessed.

The goal of this clinical trial is to assess the ability of Tadalafil alone and in combination with neoadjuvant FLOT (5-Fluorouracil, Oxaliplatin, and Docetaxel) chemotherapy to suppress myeloid derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) in patients with resectable gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma.
