Vascular Function and Oxidative Stress in Emergency Medical Responders
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical trial is to characterize blood vessel function and oxidative stress (a harmful condition that damages cells and tissues) in emergency medical technicians (EMTs). The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Does an overnight shift work in emergency medical technicians reduce blood vessel function and increase oxidative stress? 2. Can supplementing with antioxidants help reduce the negative effects of night shift work in emergency medical technicians? Researchers will... Read More

Radiation Therapy and Rituximab in Treating Patients With Stage I-II Grade 1 or Grade 2 Follicular Lymphoma
Recruiting
This randomized phase I/II trial studies radiation therapy and rituximab in treating patients with stage I-II grade 1 or grade 2 follicular lymphoma. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays to kill cancer cells. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as rituximab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving radiation therapy with rituximab may kill more cancer cells.

Dyadic Yoga Intervention in Improving Physical Performance and Quality of Life in Patients With Stage I-IV Non-small Cell Lung or Esophageal Cancer Undergoing Radiotherapy and Their Caregivers
Recruiting
This trial studies how well dyadic yoga intervention works in improving physical performance and quality of life in patients with stage I-IV non-small cell lung or esophageal cancer undergoing radiotherapy and their caregivers. Dyadic yoga intervention may help to improve physical function, fatigue, sleep difficulties, depressive symptoms, and overall quality of life for patients with non-small cell lung cancer and/or their caregivers.

A Study of Pembrolizumab and Radiation Therapy in People With Mesothelioma
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to find out whether IMPRINT in combination with pembrolizumab is a safe treatment for people with malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM).The highest dose of IMPRINT that causes few or mild side effects when given in combination with pembrolizumab will be found. Once the highest safe dose of IMPRINT is found, it will be tested in combination with pembrolizumab in future participants to see whether the combination may be an effective treatment for MPM.

Managing Agitated Delirium With Neuroleptics and Anti-Epileptics as a Neuroleptic Sparing Strategy
Recruiting
To examine the effects of haloperidol, chlorpromazine, valproic acid and placebo, in conjunction with standardized non-pharmacologic interventions, in the first line treatment of agitated delirium in hospitalized patients with cancer. This double-blind, randomized clinical trial aims to provide evidence on various therapeutic options for palliating delirium, thereby reducing delirium-related distress and ultimately alleviating suffering.

Healthy Little Eyes
Recruiting
The purpose of this research study is to gather more information on how eye injury is related to a baby's future development and see if eye function and brain test results can be used, along with current measures, to better diagnose and treat babies with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). Participants will undergo up to two eye exam sessions, involving both Visual Evoked Potential (VEP) and Electroretinogram (ERG) exams.

Move and Snooze: Adding Insomnia Treatment to an Exercise Program to Improve Pain Outcomes in Older Adults With Knee Osteoarthritis
Recruiting
This research will compare the effectiveness of a remotely delivered personalized exercise coaching plus an evidence-based sleep improvement intervention to remotely delivered personalized exercise coaching alone for knee osteoarthritis pain. The study team hypothesize that the combined intervention will result in greater improvements in patient-reported pain intensity, recorded with real-time data capture, than remotely delivered exercise coaching alone.

The Effect of the Menstrual Cycle on Immune Cell Activity and Recovery After Resistance Exercise
Recruiting
The goal of this observational study is to learn how the menstrual cycle affects immune cell activation, recruitment, and recovery responses after resistance exercise in healthy, resistance-trained women aged 18-40. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does the menstrual cycle influence neutrophil recruitment and adhesion after resistance exercise? Does the menstrual cycle affect markers of muscle damage and functional recovery? Researchers will compare three menstrual phases (early follic... Read More

Electrical DN as an Adjunct to Eccentric Exercise, Stretching + MT for Achilles Tendinopathy
Recruiting
The purpose of this research is to compare two different approaches for treating patients with achilles tendinopathy: eccentric exercise, stretching and manual therapy VS Electric dry needling, eccentric exercise, stretching and manual therapy.
