The goal of this clinical trial is to test whether light therapy is effective for reducing symptoms in young adults with OCD and late bedtimes (1am or later). The main question\[s\] it aims to answer are: Does light therapy reduce OCD symptoms? Does light therapy advance the circadian clock? If there is a comparison group: Researchers will compare a higher dose of light therapy to a lower dose to see if dose amount affects symptom reduction. Participants will asked to: 1. Wear light therapy glasses for 1 hour each morning and complete a daily light therapy log for 5 weeks 2. Track their sleep every day with a wearable monitor and an electronic sleep diary for 5 weeks 3. Complete a 1-time assessment of sensitivity to light exposure 4. Complete self-report measures of OCD 4 times/day at baseline (2 weeks), mid-treatment (1 week), and end of treatment (1 week) Read Less

This clinical trial evaluates a digital health intervention for improving symptoms and physical activity among patients with breast cancer undergoing radiation. Cancer-related fatigue is common and strongly associated with quality of life during and after treatment. Increasing emphasis on early symptom detection and management has prompted initiatives to collect patient-reported fatigue from all patients during treatment. Mind-body interventions including physical activity and yoga are recommendations to treat fatigue and comorbid (coexisting) symptoms. Lower socioeconomic status has not only been associated with higher rates of physical inactivity but also with perceptions that it could negatively impact fatigue and quality of life during treatment. A virtual mind-body program called Integrative Medicine at Home (IM@Home) includes cardio fitness and yoga classes in a bundled intervention that has demonstrated decreased fatigue, depression, insomnia, and symptom distress among patients undergoing breast radiation. The IM@Home program may also increase physical activity among patients with breast cancer undergoing radiation. Read Less

This clinical trial studies the effect of respiratory training for enhancing brain and mental health among patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) and cancer (along with their caregivers). The relationship between respiration, cardiovascular effects in the brain, mental health, and neurophysiological mechanisms are significant for patient populations facing complex health challenges, such as those with cancer and neurodegenerative disease, and their caregivers. By measuring oxygen delivery to brain tissues and cerebrospinal fluid flow, this trial may help researchers investigate the potential benefits of respiratory training for patients with MS and cancer and their caregivers. The main goals are after treatment given before surgery, to measure the number of people who have no signs of cancer cells in tumors and lymph nodes removed during surgery; and to learn about whether the cancer gets smaller or goes away by measuring the number of people with a certain number of living cancer cells in the tumor removed during surgery. Hormonal contraceptives are medications that require a prescription, traditionally from a physician or advanced practice provider. Over the past decade, pharmacists have gained the authority to prescribe contraceptives in many states, allowing patients to access these medications directly in pharmacies without first seeing another healthcare provider. The Pharmacist Resource to Implement Services as Modules (PRISM) is an Electronic Health Record platform designed to streamline workflows and provide clinical decision support, making it easier and safer to deliver clinical services in community pharmacies. This pilot study will evaluate patient-reported outcomes for women receiving contraceptive services from pharmacists using the PRISM platform at five community pharmacies across the United States over a 12-week period. Aspirin is recommended in high risk patients to reduce the risk of preeclampsia and preterm birth, which are leading causes of both maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality, but up to 20% will have these adverse outcomes despite therapy. Gaps in knowledge regarding pregnancy specific aspirin pharmacology and the relationship of aspirin response and pregnancy outcome, along with a lack of consensus on aspirin dosing has limited the effective use of this intervention. The investigators aim to apply principles of clinical pharmacology to determine how to optimally utilize this low cost medication to improve maternal/child health outcomes. This is a Phase I/II randomized controlled trial of high risk pregnancies recommended aspirin; participants will be randomized to take aspirin either 162mg once daily, or 81mg twice a day. Outcomes evaluated will include the difference in aspirin response between these two dosing regimens, the individual factors that impact aspirin pharmacology in pregnancy, and evaluate markers or aspirin response that may be associated with pregnancy outcome. Given the challenges to delivering tobacco cessation treatment in oncology care and the unique challenges faced by individuals attempting to quit tobacco after a cancer diagnosis, scalable cessation programs that are tailored to the experiences of cancer survivors that also integrate caregiver/family support are needed. To address this need, this study will use an intervention that consists of two primary strategies: 1) a tailored cessation program for cancer survivors and family members/caregivers who use tobacco and 2) healthcare provider training. Healthcare providers will receive training on the AAC model (Ask patients about tobacco use, Advise patients to quit, Connect patients to cessation resources), including materials focused on tobacco cessation in cancer care from the CDC, as well as a brief evidence-based communication skills training based on the C-LEAR (Counsel, Listen, Empathize, Answer, Recommend) approach.
