This study is a Phase 3, randomized, modified double-blind study which aims to measure whether the investigational pneumococcal conjugate vaccine PCV21 is safe and can help the body to develop germ-fighting agents called "antibodies" (immunogenicity) when it is given after 1 dose, 2 doses, or 3 doses of a licensed 20-valent pneumococcal vaccine compared to when 20-valent pneumococcal vaccine is given as a complete series in infants aged from approximately 2 months (42 to 89 days). The study duration per participant will be up to approximately 19 months. The study vaccines (either PCV21 or 20vPCV) will be administered at approximately 2, 4, 6 and 12 to 15 months of age (MoA). Routine pediatric vaccines will be given as per local recommendations. There will be 6 study visits: Visit (V)01, V02 separated from V01 by 60 days, V03 separated from V02 by 60 days, V04 separated from V03 by 30 days, V05 at 12 months of age until 15 months of age, V06 separated from V05 by 30 days. The long-term goal of the project is to determine whether cannabidiol (CBD) can reduce craving and relapse in individuals with opioid use disorder (OUD). The first phase of this project was an open cross-over design study in healthy individuals to confirm the safety and pharmacokinetic (PK) effects of CBD (BSPG CBD; Brains Bioceutical). The second phase was a double-blinded randomized controlled trial to determine whether CBD reduces craving and anxiety in individuals with OUD maintained on opioid agonist therapy. This phase 3 trial will determine whether CBD can serve as a potential adjunct treatment to reduce illicit opioid use in individuals with OUD maintained on opioid agonist therapy. Read Less

Hispanic adolescents in the U.S. are disproportionately burdened by type 2 diabetes (T2D) compared to non-Hispanic white youth (0.079% vs. 0.017%) contributing to higher rates of T2D-related vascular complications, cardiovascular disease, and mortality, among this population. Disparities in T2D are driven in part by independent, modifiable risk factors including low levels of physical activity, sleep, and poor diet. Lifestyle interventions are the cornerstone for maintaining glucose control and managing T2D. However, few studies have developed and tested lifestyle interventions for Hispanic youth with T2D. Digital health interventions that promote healthy lifestyle behaviors like physical activity, sleep, and diet, have demonstrated effectiveness among adults. Studies that use health-based smartphone applications have demonstrated preliminary efficacy for improving health-related lifestyle behaviors as these digital tools leverage behavior change techniques (e.g. self-monitoring, goal-setting, feedback) that have proven effective. Use of digital technology allows for the continuous delivery of intervention content into the home environment extending the reach of clinical care while engaging youth in a format that is age-appropriate given that today's youth are digital frontrunners. Unfortunately, while the use of digital health interventions have increased, few studies have focused on adolescents with overweight and obesity who are at high risk for T2D. The purpose of this study is to 1) develop a mobile health platform for remote and continuous monitoring of activity, sleep, and nutrition and 2) conduct a pilot study (30 days) to evaluate the efficacy of a novel digital health platform in improving obesity-related health outcomes outcomes in Hispanic adolescents (12-18 years; N=30) population. The Cocooned Moms Study is a pre- and post-design study primarily aimed at reducing stress, depressive symptoms, and blood pressure among expectant Black women by providing them with free access to the InovCares mobile app. InovCares is a culturally-sensitive telehealth platform designed for community-based care coordination in maternal care. It also offers a culturally tailored maternal mental health program, which provides access to resources addressing social determinants of health, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, and compassion-focused therapy (CFT), along with peer-to-peer support and gamification. The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about the safety and effects of the study medicine (called PF-07275315) for the potential treatment of moderate-to-severe asthma. Asthma is a condition that makes it challenging to breathe, which negatively impacts the quality of life and functioning of people who are affected. This study is seeking participants who: * Are 18 to 70 years old * Have had moderate-to-severe asthma for at least 12 months that is not well controlled * Have been taking their regular maintenance treatment(s) for asthma over the last 12 months All participants will receive PF-07275315 or a placebo. A placebo does not have any medicine in it but looks just like the medicine being studied. PF-07275315 or placebo will be given as multiple shots in the clinic over the course of 12 weeks. We will compare the experiences of people receiving PF-07275315 to those of the people who do not. This will help us determine if PF-07275315 is safe and effective. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a complex autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks healthy joint tissue; causing pain, swelling, and stiffness of the joints. This disease effects lots of people in the US and can lead to major joint damage if not properly treated. In rural areas like northern NY, these are underserved areas for RA patients, thus many patients struggle to get the appropriate care. This model is testing whether primary care providers (PCP) can safely and effectively provide stable RA patients with the proper treatment rather than send them to a specialist. PCPs were trained through classes, case reviews, and a final exam. Patients will be randomly assigned to either see a trained PCP or their normal rheumatologist at the rheumatology clinic. This study will examine how patients are doing over a year using medical exams and patient feedback. If this model proves to be successful, it will make RA treatment easier and more affordable for patients. Read Less

In the present study, investigators intend to establish a large database of cardiovascular patients. More specifically, investigators will create a database of approximately 12,000 cardiac catheterization and heart failure patients from Emory University Hospital, the Emory Clinic, Emory University Hospital Midtown, Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta VA Medical Center, Organized/Planned Community Events in the Atlanta Metropolitan area, held at places of Worship, local Community Centers, shopping Malls, doctor's Offices and Health Clinics and any other miscellaneous locations, e.g. Parks, Leisure centers, Conference centers. Once the data has been collected, investigators will run a variety of statistical analyses to which will help us to learn more about the factors that cause various cardiovascular diseases such as coronary heart disease, angina, heart failure, hypertension, and stroke. The statistical analyses will also help us to understand how these diseases can be treated more effectively. By collecting a large amount of data on a large number of cardiovascular patients, investigators will be able to analyze, with a great deal of precision, those factors that influence the onset, course, and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The results of these precise analyses can then be used to help optimize clinical efforts to prevent and treat cardiovascular disease. Read Less
