This comparative effectiveness study will clarify current first-line preventive treatment approaches for use by neurologists, psychologists, and primary care providers in the context of real world care, and will demonstrate the feasibility of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) via telehealth for youth with migraine. The focus is on applying evidence-based care and enhancing access to it. CBT via telehealth while taking a clinically-prescribed, pill-based prevention therapy (amitriptyline) will be compared to CBT via telehealth alone. Read Less

This study is a prospective observational study for subjects with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) or non-IPF interstitial lung diseases (ILD). The purpose of this study is to compare whether imaging patterns from high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) at baseline can predict worsening. Single Time point Prediction (STP) is a score derived from an artificial intelligenc/ machine learning (AI/ML) using the radiomic features from a HRCT scan that quantifies the imaging patterns of short-term predictive worsening. The goal of this project is to better understand the relationship between tobacco/nicotine and cannabis using behavioral economics during a tobacco/nicotine quit attempt. All participants will receive tobacco/nicotine cessation treatment (smoking and/or vaping treatment) for 12 weeks. To qualify, participants must be between the ages of 18-25 and use tobacco products (smoke cigarettes and/or vape nicotine) and use cannabis (in any form). Participants do not need to be interested in quitting cannabis/marijuana to qualify. This study is being conducted by the Medical University of South Carolina. The purpose of this prospective pilot study is to gather preliminary evidence evaluating spinal cord stimulation (SCS) as a potential therapy for the treatment of rigidity and painful spasms in patients with stiff person syndrome (SPS), a rare autoimmune neurological condition. The hypothesis is that SCS-mediated clinical improvement occurs through multi-modal mechanisms of action targeting several components of neuronal inhibitory signaling pathways in the spinal cord. This phase II trial tests how well risk based de-escalated hormone therapy (i.e., fewer treatments) with radiation works in treating patients with prostate cancer. Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), such as gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogs (LHRH) and abiraterone acetate (Zytiga), lower the amount of the male hormone, testosterone, made by the body. This may help kill or stop the growth of tumor cells that need testosterone to grow. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays, particles, or radioactive seeds to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. Research has shown that long-term ADT is beneficial for patients with high-risk prostate cancer. However, there are few studies that determine ADT treatment based on risk factors. Giving risk based de-escalated ADT with radiation therapy may be as effective as giving more ADT in treating high-risk prostate cancer. Read Less

Background: Gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors (GI NET) are a type of cancer that affects the stomach and intestines; pheochromocytoma/paragangliomas (PPGL) are tumors that grow in or near the adrenal glands. Both of these types of tumor have high levels of a protein called somatostatin receptors (SSTR) on their surfaces. Researchers want to test a treatment that targets SSTR. Objective: To test a drug (\[212Pb\]VMT-alpha-NET) in people with GI NET or PPGL. The drug has 2 components: a protein to bind to SSTR and a radioactive agent to kill the cancer cells. Eligibility: Adults aged 18 years or older with GI NET or PPGL tumors that have spread and cannot be removed with surgery. Design: Participants will be screened. They will have a physical exam, with imaging scans, blood tests, and tests of their heart function. \[212Pb\]VMT-alpha-NET is given through a tube attached to a needle inserted into a vein (infusion). Treatment will be given in four 8 week cycles. Participants will receive the drug on the first day of each cycle. They will remain in the clinic at least 4 hours after each infusion and may need to stay in the hospital for up to 48 hour for monitoring and testing. They will have blood tests every week of each cycle. Some participants will also get a related study drug (\[203Pb\]VMT-alpha-NET). They will receive this drug a few days before the first 2 cycles. At 4, 24, and 48 hours after each infusion, they will have whole body scans. These scans will show where the study drug went in their body. Follow-up visits will continue for 10 years.... Read Less
