Early PKD Observational Cohort Study
Recruiting
This observational study will collect blood and urine and clinical information from individuals with early-stages of polycystic kidney disease (PKD), their unaffected siblings and normal volunteers to create a biobank, also called a biorepository. The long-term goal is to develop new knowledge on biological markers or biomarkers that indicate changes in the disease progression. An understanding of biomarkers for early renal cyst growth will benefit PKD patients as new therapies are being develop... Read More

Evaluating Genomic Testing in Human Cancer & Outcomes of Targeted Therapies
Recruiting
This is a substudy (Part 2) of a larger two-part clinical trial including both observational and therapeutic (interventional) cohorts to assess the progression free survival ratio of patients treated with a targeted therapy based on genomic analysis results and recommendation by the Markey Cancer Center Molecular Tumor Board (MCC MTB).

A 5-year Longitudinal Observational Study of Patients Undergoing Therapy for Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Recruiting
TARGET-IBD is a 5-year, longitudinal, observational study of adult and pediatric patients (age 2 and above) being managed for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in usual clinical practice. TARGET-IBD will create a research registry of patients with IBD within academic and community real-world practices in order to assess the safety and effectiveness of current and future therapies.

Dystonia Genotype-Phenotype Correlation
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to (1) investigate the effect of known dystonia-causing mutations on brain structure and function, to (2) identify structural brain changes that differ between clinical phenotypes of dystonia, and to (3) collect DNA, detailed family history, and clinical phenotypes from patients with idiopathic dystonia with the goal of identifying new dystonia-related genes. Investigators will be recruiting both healthy control subjects and subjects with any form of dystonia. For th... Read More

Dexrazoxane Hydrochloride in Preventing Heart-Related Side Effects of Chemotherapy in Participants With Blood Cancers
Recruiting
This phase II trial studies how well dexrazoxane hydrochloride works in preventing heart-related side effects of chemotherapy in participants with blood cancers, such as acute myeloid leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, chronic myeloid leukemia, and myeloproliferative neoplasms. Chemoprotective drugs, such as dexrazoxane hydrochloride, may protect the heart from the side effects of drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cladribine, idarubicin, cytarabine, and gemtuzumab ozogamicin, in participants... Rapid Antidepressant Improvement Secondary to Excitatory Brain Responses
Recruiting
The central goal of this application is to demonstrate the causal contribution of reward learning signals (expected values and reward prediction errors \[RPE\]) to antidepressant responses (Aim1) by experimentally manipulating expected values using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) targeting the vmPFC (Aim 2) and μ-opioid striatal RPE signal using pharmacological approaches (Aim 3).
