In this randomized controlled trial, the investigators will assess the health impacts of optimizing the timing of dietary consumption in nurses and nursing assistants who work night shifts, have a habitual eating window of 14 hours or more, and elevated weight. Participants will be randomized to one of three groups: (1) dietary monitoring, (2) dietary monitoring plus 10-hour daytime time-restricted eating (TRE), or (3) TRE with a low-glycemic snack during night shifts. Botulinum toxin injections have been used both in the face and neck for many years. However, injection into the sternocleidomastoid muscle (SCM) has only been done to treat neck spasms. In this study botulinum toxin will be injected into the SCM to determine if this will result in a temporary slimming effect on the neck and produce a more feminine, youthful neck contour. Read Less

This study tests whether a medication called droxidopa can help improve blood flow to the kidneys in people with liver cirrhosis who develop kidney problems while in the hospital. When someone with cirrhosis experiences kidney injury, having better blood pressure can help their kidneys recover. Droxidopa is an oral medication that may help raise blood pressure without requiring intensive care or invasive treatments. The study will compare droxidopa to a placebo (inactive pill) in 75 people hospitalized with cirrhosis and kidney injury. Participants will take either droxidopa or placebo pills for 28 days and be monitored for an additional 30 days. Researchers will measure changes in blood pressure and kidney function to determine if droxidopa is effective and safe for these patients. The investigators are modifying and testing the preliminary effectiveness and implementation of the combination of two psychosocial interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Suicide Prevention (CBT-SP) and the computer-assisted version of the Youth-Nominated Support Team (eYST). This registration will be for Aim 2 and a pilot randomized clinical trial for Aim 3 will be registered separately. In this phase of the study, CBT-SP+eYST will be tested in an initial open trial (number of youth=6) to examine its feasibility and acceptability. Investigators will recruit Black adolescents that come to an urban emergency department (ED) for suicidal thoughts and/or behaviors to receive the intervention in an outpatient community mental health agency. The study focuses on the acute phase of CBT-SP, which is 12 sessions. Participants will nominate up to 4 caring adults in the participants lives to serve as support persons. These support persons will attend an education/orientation session to learn more about their role and how to support the youth. Youth will be assessed at baseline, 6 weeks, and 14 weeks. Parents will be assessed at baseline and 14 weeks. Support persons will be assessed at baseline and 14 weeks. Fidelity assessments will be completed by clinicians after each CBT-SP session, after the YST psycho-ed session, and weekly to document contact with the support team. Read Less

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (TMP-SMX) works to treat invasive infections due to methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in children. It will also learn about the safety of TMP-SMX in the treatment of children with invasive MRSA infections. The main questions it aims to answer are: -Is TMP-SMX effective at successfully treating children with invasive infections due to MRSA? What are the side effects of TMP-SMX in children taking it for invasive infections due to MRSA? Researchers will compare TMP-SMX to a clindamycin (a commonly prescribed antibiotic for the treatment of MRSA in children) to see if TMP-SMX works better, worse or the same as clindamycin for children with invasive infections due to MRSA. Participants will: Take TMP-SMX or clindamycin for the treatment of their invasive infection due to MRSA. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if the OTC supplement, hydrogen water, works to treat the fatigue-related symptoms and functional limitations in adults with myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). It will also examine if heart rate variability (HRV) can be used to predict who will benefit from the hydrogen water treatment. The main questions it aims to answer are: Does the OTC supplement, hydrogen water, work to reduce the fatigue-related symptoms and improve functioning in participants who have ME/CFS? The purpose of this study is to find the smallest amount of the 131 I-apamistamab needed for preparing patients with severe sickle cell disease (SCD) for a bone marrow transplant. This is the first time 131 I-apamistamab is being used for advanced Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) in the setting of allogeneic stem cell transplant. 131 I-apamistamab is an investigational product. This means that 131 I-apamistamab has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for medical use in patients. The study treatment that is given before the transplant is called the conditioning regimen. In this study, the investigators are adding a drug called 131 I-apamistamab instead of the conditioning regimen typically given before a stem cell transplant. Read Less
