This clinical trial evaluates two surgical techniques (targeted muscle re-innervation \[TMR\] and regenerative peripheral nerve interfaces \[RPNI\]) alone and in combination for the alleviation of chronic residual limb and phantom limb pain in cancer patients who have had an amputation. Chronic residual limb pain and phantom limb pain are debilitating outcomes of traumatic and oncologic amputation. Emerging microsurgical treatments for post-amputation pain are very promising. TMR and RPNI are both approved surgical techniques that involve connecting cut nerves to parts of the muscle as a way to heal and protect the nerves. The proposed study will be a prospective, randomized, double blind, placebo controlled trial to compare the use of a continuous infusion versus intermittent ketorolac on postoperative patients in the pediatric cardiovascular ICU. This clinical trial examines an investigational scan (64Cu-DOTA-trastuzumab positron emission tomography \[PET\]/magnetic resonance imaging \[MRI\]) in imaging patients with HER2+ breast cancer that has spread to the brain (brain metastasis). Diagnostic procedures, such as 64Cu-DOTA-trastuzumab PET/MRI, may help find HER2+ breast cancer that has spread to the brain and determine whether cancer in the brain takes up trastuzumab, which may predict for response to trastuzumab deruxtecan (the standard of care chemotherapy). The goal of this study is to collect more information from people with plaque psoriasis and to determine if insulin plays a role in the pathogenesis of psoriasis. The main question it aims to answer is if insulin action is preserved or even enhanced in psoriatic lesions despite insulin resistance elsewhere. Participants with plaque psoriasis will have punch biopsies taken of lesional and non-lesional skin after an overnight fast and then during an oral glucose tolerance test. To assess whether holding incretin-based therapy before endoscopy reduces the likelihood of clinically relevant Residual Gastric Volume (RGV). Primary Outcomes: * Residual gastric volume that precludes adequate endoscopic examination * Residual gastric volume that necessitates premature termination of the endoscopy procedure * Need for endotracheal intubation due to stomach contents. * Occurrence of aspiration events requiring extended observation/monitoring, unplanned therapeutics, and/or hospital admission Secondary Outcomes: * Presence of any solid food * Presence of moderate liquid content * Increased RGV(Residual Gastric Volume) defined as any amount of solid content or \> 0.8 mL/Kg of fluid content (measured from the aspiration/suction canister). * Differences in primary and secondary outcomes between different medications Read Less

The purpose of this research is to develop and validate a single gene Non-Invasive Prenatal Test. The development of this investigational single-gene noninvasive prenatal testing (sgNIPT) for conditions such as cystic fibrosis (CF), spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), Sickle cell disease, alpha thalassemia (a-thalassemia) and beta thalassemia (b-thalassemia) could provide information about the possibility that a child will be born with a serious health condition, in some cases in the absence of reproductive partner screening. In order to develop a test for this purpose, investigators will collect blood samples and medical information from pregnant women who have pregnancies at higher risk for single gene disorders, such as those who are carriers for these conditions or affected by these conditions themselves, medical data from their reproductive partners in some cases, and either genetic testing results or a cheek swab sample from the newborn(s). The goal of this randomized controlled trial is to determine whether the use of a novel vibrating pelvic floor therapeutic device ("Kiwi") improves sexual function in sexually active women aged 18 and older with genito-pelvic pain and penetration disorder (GPPPD) more effectively than traditional vaginal dilators. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Does the use of the Kiwi device lead to higher sexual function scores compared to traditional vaginal dilators 2. Does the Kiwi device improve sexual distress, pain, and overall symptom severity more effectively than traditional vaginal dilators? Researchers will compare the Kiwi vibrating device to traditional cylindrical vaginal dilators to assess whether the Kiwi device results in greater improvements in sexual function and symptom relief. Participants will: * Be randomly assigned to use either the Kiwi device or traditional vaginal dilators. * Use the assigned device three times per week for 15 minutes per session over four weeks. * Complete surveys before and after the study, including assessments of sexual function, pain, and overall improvement.
