Detailed Description The doula-led intervention developed during the first phase of this project will be pilot tested for feasibility. Following the recruitment procedures described in the recruitment and retention plan, approximately 75 participants will be enrolled into the study. Twenty-five of the participants will receive regular doula care and 25 of the participants will receive care from a doula trained in the PMAD doula training throughout their pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum time period, following the intervention procedures developed in Aim 2 of this study. Twenty-five women will not receive care from a doula and will receive perinatal care as usual. Women in all groups will take surveys via REDCap during their enrollment in the intervention, at 1 month postpartum, 3 months, and 6 months postpartum (at the conclusion of the intervention). All participants who receive the PMAD doula intervention will complete checklists after each session with their doula, to assess fidelity to the intervention. Participant communication with their doula via patient notebook will also be assessed for fidelity to the intervention. Read Less

To compare the effects of the following types of therapy on knee range of motion when given to patients with chronic knee pain: * A standard steroid injection * Peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS) therapy in combination with a standard steroid injection * PNS therapy in combination with a placebo injection Steroid injections are given directly into the knee joints and are considered to be the standard therapy for chronic knee pain. The goal of this study is to test whether chemotherapy guided by a new imaging method named DCE-MRI can more effectively reduce a pancreatic tumor, enabling curable surgery, over the conventional method when a tumor is categorized as borderline resectable pancreatic cancer. UAB radiological research team has been studying a cutting-edge imaging technique named dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging, or DCE-MRI, for over 10 years. This technique has been globally used to calculate the blood flow of various tissues, including tumors. Blood flow often serves as a critical indicator showing a disease status. For example, a pancreatic tumor typically has low blood flow, so it can be used as an indicator to identify the presence of a pancreatic tumor. In addition, an effective therapy can result in the increase of blood flow in a pancreatic tumor during the early period of treatment. Therefore, the investigators may be able to determine whether the undergoing therapy is effective or not by measuring the change of blood flow in the pancreatic tumor and deciding whether to continue the therapy or try a different one. This exploratory, proof-of-concept study is a double-blind (participants and investigators will be blinded), placebo-controlled, randomized, two-arm clinical trial of Marinol \[dronabinol, synthetic Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)\] for chronic low back pain (cLBP) with a 2:1 allocation ratio. Up to 75 subjects will be enrolled in this pilot study and randomized to receive doses of THC (up to 30 mg/day), orally, over 8 weeks. This study will be conducted at a single site; it does not include any stratifications, and there is no interim analysis planned. Notably, the goal is to determine whether there is enough evidence of the safety of THC to support the development of later-phase clinical trials. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn how well two community-based self-management programs work in people with chronic back or neck pain from populations that have been minoritized based on race, ethnicity, or income. The main question it aims to answer is: How well does a community-based self-management program teaching mind-body skills such as mindfulness and cognitive behavioral approaches (Partners4Pain) work for reducing pain intensity and interference with general activities and enjoyment of life compared to a community-based self-management program focused on general health and wellbeing (Keys to Wellbeing)? Participants will be asked to do the following: * Attend 2 screening visits to learn about the study and see if they meet the requirements to participate. * Be randomly assigned to one of the two community-based self-management programs. * Attend 9 weekly self-management program sessions (90 minutes each) * Complete surveys about their pain and overall health at 2 months (after the programs end), 4 months, and 6 months. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if BMT-3566 can safety be given to adult patients with relapsed or refractory mature b cell lymphomas. It will also learn how well BTM-3566 works to treat relapsed or refractory mature b cell lymphomas. The main questions it aims to answer are: What are the side effects of BTM-3566 at different doses? What are the levels of BTM-3566 in the blood at different timepoints around dosing? What is the clinical benefit of BTM-3566 in treating cancer (i.e. how well does it slow or stop disease progression)? This is a prospective sham study to investigate the role of transpyloric stenting with lumen apposing metal stent (LAMS) as a predictor for clinical response to gastric per-oral endoscopic pyloromyotomy (GPOEM) for refractory gastroparesis.
