Focal Ablation With Focal Cryotherapy or HIFU for the Treatment of Men With Localized Prostate Cancer
Recruiting
This clinical trial evaluates the effectiveness of focal ablation with either focal cryotherapy or high intensity frequency ultrasound for the treatment of men with localized prostate cancer. Focal cryotherapy kills tumor cells by freezing them. High intensity frequency ultrasound uses highly focused ultrasound waves to produce heat and destroy tumor cells.

Piloting Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy in People Living with HIV and Trauma
Recruiting
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy is a time-limited trauma-response therapy that treats symptoms of stress that result disturbing life experiences. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy has been used to treat trauma-related symptoms for people living with HIV. People living with HIV tend to experience higher psychiatric morbidity rates of depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress symptoms than the general population. However, even with case studies of Eye... Read More

Combination Chemotherapy and Nelarabine in Treating Patients With T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia or Lymphoblastic Lymphoma
Recruiting
This phase II trial studies the side effects and how well combination chemotherapy and nelarabine work in treating patients with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia or lymphoblastic lymphoma. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as cyclophosphamide, vincristine, doxorubicin, dexamethasone, methotrexate, cytarabine, mercaptopurine, prednisone, pegaspargase, nelarabine, and venetoclax work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing... Genomic Biomarker-Selected Umbrella Neoadjuvant Study for High Risk Localized Prostate Cancer
Recruiting
The objective of this study is to see if providing an appropriate therapy based on the genomic testing of prostate tumour tissue will result in an improved clinical response.
Each participant will be treated with 8 weeks of a luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone agonist (LHRHa) plus apalutamide (APA) while genome sequence characterization is being done. Participants with biopsy specimens deemed unevaluable for genomic testing will remain on LHRHa plus APA for an additional 16 weeks.

A Study to Evaluate the Safety and Tolerability of TOS-358 in Adults with Select Solid Tumors
Recruiting
The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the safety of TOS-358 in adults with select solid tumors who meet study enrollment criteria. The main questions it aims to answer are:
1. what is the maximum tolerated dose and recommended dose for phase 2?
2. how safe and tolerable is TOS-358 at different dose levels when taken orally once or twice per day?

Modifying the Inpatient Environment to Reduce Delirium in Older Adults
Recruiting
The overall goal is to reduce the incidence and burden of delirium, as measured by the delirium burden index (DBI) among hospitalized older adults (≥70 years), by modifying the inpatient environment to decrease its sleep antagonism. The investigators propose to implement a multi-modal sleep hygiene (MMSH) bundle, an enhancement of a previously reported sleep-focused intervention which had 88 - 100% compliance for intervention components, and reduced ICU delirium by 50%.

2-Hydroxybenzylamine (2-HOBA) to Reduce HDL Modification and Improve HDL Function in Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH)
Recruiting
The Investigators will test the hypothesis that 2-HOBA will reduce modification of HDL and LDL and improve HDL function in humans with heterozygous FH. The Investigators plan to first study subjects with Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH), treating them with 750 mg of 2-HOBA or placebo every 8 hours for 6 weeks.
