This is an interventional, randomized, parallel group, treatment, Phase 3b/4, double blind, 2-arm study to assess the effect of dupilumab compared to standard of care therapy on preventing or slowing the rate of lung function decline in adult patients with uncontrolled moderate to severe asthma. The estimated duration is 4±1 weeks of screening and run-in period, followed by a 3-year double blinded treatment period. There will be a post-treatment follow-up (FU) period up to 12 weeks. The primary objective of the trial is to evaluate the efficacy of fluticasone propionate/albuterol sulfate multidose dry powder inhaler with electronic module (Fp/ABS eMDPI). This is a parallel, Phase 3, 2-arm study to evaluate the efficacy and long-term safety of dupilumab treatment in children 2 to \<6 years of age with uncontrolled asthma and/or recurrent severe asthmatic wheeze. The study will be conducted in 2 parts. Part A will be a 52-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to assess the safety and efficacy of dupilumab in children aged 2 to \<6 years old with uncontrolled asthma and/or recurrent severe asthmatic wheeze. At the end of Part A, all eligible participants will be offered participation in Part B, an optional open-label extension phase. Randomized controlled trial of soluble fiber (NOVELOSETM 3490). Participants will complete an ASA 24 dietary recall questionnaire to access their fiber intake. If eligible for the study, participants will be supplemented to their target fiber dosage with either soluble fiber (NOVELOSETM 3490) or placebo. Collection of blood serum, fecal samples, and nasal wash will aid in analyzing the microbes present in one's gut and how fiber and diet may impact it. Thus, allowing researchers to better understand the pathways that may connect diet and asthma and if it is possible to improve asthma by altering one's diet. Read Less
