This is a parallel-group, Phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, 2-arm study for the treatment of asthma. The purpose of this study is to assess the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of add-on therapy with SC lunsekimig compared with placebo in male and female participants (aged 18 to 80 years, inclusive) with asthma, who are not currently eligible for biologic treatments. The purpose of this study is to measure the efficacy and safety of baxdrostat/dapagliflozin in participants ≥ 18 years of age with CKD and HTN. This study consists of a screening, a 4-week dapagliflozin run-in period for participants naïve to SGLT2i at baseline; a 24-month double-blind period in which participants will receive either baxdrostat/dapagliflozin or dapagliflozin; and a 6-week open-label period in which all participants will discontinue baxdrostat/placebo and receive dapagliflozin alone. Site visits will take place at 2-, 4-, 8-, and 16- weeks following randomisation. Thereafter visits will occur approximately every 4 months, until the 24-month visit at which time baxdrostat/placebo will be discontinued. Participants will continue open-label dapagliflozin for another 6-weeks (approximately), where reassessment of GFR will occur for the primary efficacy endpoint. In the event of premature discontinuation of blinded study intervention, participants will continue in the study and receive open-label dapagliflozin monotherapy, unless the participant meets dapagliflozin specific discontinuation criteria, in which case all study interventions will be discontinued. This phase III trial uses the Decipher risk score to guide intensification (for higher Decipher gene risk) or de-intensification (for low Decipher gene risk) of treatment to better match therapies to an individual patient's cancer aggressiveness. The Decipher risk score evaluates a prostate cancer tumor for its potential for spreading. In patients with low risk scores, this trial compares radiation therapy alone to the usual treatment of radiation therapy and hormone therapy (androgen deprivation therapy). Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays or particles to kill tumor cells and shrink tumors. Androgen deprivation therapy blocks the production or interferes with the action of male sex hormones such as testosterone, which plays a role in prostate cancer development. Giving radiation treatment alone may be the same as the usual approach in controlling the cancer and preventing it from spreading, while avoiding the side effects associated with hormonal therapy. In patients with higher Decipher gene risk, this trial compares the addition of darolutamide to usual treatment radiation therapy and hormone therapy, to usual treatment. Darolutamide blocks the actions of the androgens (e.g. testosterone) in the tumor cells and in the body. The addition of darolutamide to the usual treatment may better control the cancer and prevent it from spreading. Read Less

Researchers are looking for a better way to treat people with chronic kidney disease (CKD), a progressive decrease in the kidneys' ability to work properly, and type 1 diabetes. In people with type 1 diabetes, the body does not make enough of a hormone called insulin, resulting in high blood sugar levels that can cause damage to the kidneys. CKD often occurs together with or as a consequence of type 1 diabetes. The study treatment finerenone works by blocking certain proteins, called mineralocorticoid receptors. An increased stimulation of these proteins is thought to damage the kidneys and the heart. By lowering their stimulation, finerenone reduces the risk of kidney disease progressively getting worse. Finerenone is approved for doctors to prescribe to people with CKD and type 2 diabetes. In this study, researchers want to learn if finerenone works better than placebo in reducing the participants' kidney disease from getting worse when given in addition to standard of care (SOC) treatment. A placebo looks like a treatment but does not have any medicine in it. SOC is a procedure or treatment that medical experts consider most appropriate for a condition or disease. To find out how well finerenone works, the level of a protein (albumin) in the urine will be measured. Researchers also want to know how safe finerenone is. To do this, the researchers will collect the number of participants with: * medical problems (also called treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs)) * serious TEAEs. An TEAE is considered 'serious' when it leads to death, puts the participant's life at risk, requires hospitalization, causes disability, causes a baby being born with medical problems, or is medically important * higher than normal blood levels of potassium (hyperkalaemia). Depending on the treatment group, the participants will either take finerenone or placebo, Importantly, the participants will also continue to take their regular SOC medicines. The participants will be in the study for up to 7.5 months and will take the study treatments for 6 months. During the study, they will visit the study site at least 6 times. The goal of this clinical study is to learn more about the study drug, obeldesivir (ODV; GS-5245), and how safe and effective it is in treating nonhospitalized adults with acute respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection. The researchers want to see if obeldesivir can help participants' symptoms get better faster. This phase III trial compares an additional support program (text message reminders and/or telephone-based counseling) with usual care in making sure breast cancer patients take their endocrine therapy medication as prescribed (medication adherence). Medication adherence is how well patients take the medication as prescribed by their doctors, and good medical adherence is when patients take medications correctly. Poor medication adherence has been shown to be a serious barrier to effective treatment for hormone receptor positive breast cancer patients. Adding text message reminders and/or telephone-based counseling to usual care may increase the number of days that patients take their endocrine therapy medication as prescribed. Read Less
