Misalignment of teeth and jaws (also called malocclusion) is a common life altering problem facing many individuals with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI). The presence of Dentinogenesis Imperfecta in teeth of OI individuals makes the use of conventional orthodontics in the form of braces very challenging. Clear aligners are newer form of orthodontic treatment and is less invasive than braces. Therefore, the aim of our study is to evaluate the efficiency and safety of using Invisalign clear aligners for orthodontic treatment in individuals with Osteogenesis Imperfecta. We seek individual with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, with mild to moderate malocclusion and no prior history of orthodontic treatment. This study will be held at three sites - McGill University, University of California Los Angeles and National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial research. This study will for the first time, help define guidelines for safe and efficient orthodontic treatment using clear aligners in individuals with Osteogenesis Imperfecta. If successful, this approach can rapidly be implemented into clinical practice, as the Invisalign system is readily available to orthodontists. Read Less

The second method is recognized to be more efficient, but many external factors can influence its performance. The goal of this clinical trial is to test the impact of a novel dual-task EMG Biofeedback training method for improving balance in individuals living with multiple sclerosis. The main question\[s\] it aims to answer are: * Does dual-task EMG biofeedback training deliver lasting balance benefits up to 3 months following the intervention? * Are the benefits greater than those for participation in traditional balance training exercises? * Do the benefits vary with the severity of disability? Participants will receive either EMG Biofeedback (EMG-BF) training or traditional balance exercise (BAL-EX) training. Both treatments involve three 30-minute sessions of the training every week for 6 weeks (18 sessions). During the sessions, participants in the EMG-BF treatment group will perform targeted exercises using feedback from adhesive (sticker) sensors on their arms and legs. Participants in the BAL-EX treatment group will following an instructor through balance training movements that are traditionally prescribed by physiotherapists to improve balance. Measurements will be taken at the beginning of the study, after six weeks of training, and three months after the end of training. Researchers will compare the groups to see if balance and related outcomes are improved more by 6-weeks of EMG-BF training than BAL-EX. Read Less

\~80% of ICU survivors experience profound long-term cognitive, physical, and psychiatric impairments known as post-intensive care syndrome (PICS). Caregivers additionally experience similar detrimental psychosocial effects following discharge. Despite this knowledge, follow-up care is almost non-existent. ICU follow-up clinics may mitigate these long-term impacts, but lack evaluation of their effectiveness. This trial will evaluate the effectiveness of ICU follow-up clinics vs. standard-of-care in improving qualitative/clinical outcomes of ICU survivors and caregivers, with those receiving follow-up care hypothesized to have improved outcomes. Preoperative anxiety (PA) affects up to 5 million children in North America each year and is associated with adverse medical, psychological, and behavioral effects. Children who are highly anxious often require more medications during surgical procedures and take longer to recover. While many attempts have been made to reduce PA in children, existing interventions are limited by their expense and time intensive nature. Thus, the current lack of effective and efficient methods of reducing anxiety in children before and after surgery has prompted us to develop and propose to test a new intervention. The investigators have developed a novel,interactive tablet based Virtual Reality program, StoryTelling Medicine (STM), to help reduce anxiety in children undergoing elective surgery, and its associated negative effects. STM is an age appropriate, customizable program to prepare children for complex surgical procedures by guiding them through the hospital settings. The investigators will examine if STM is effective in reducing PA and its adverse effects in children undergoing surgery. If effective, STM has the potential to improve children's and families' surgical experiences, and reduce health problems in the hospital setting and beyond. Read Less

This exploratory study aims to verify the hydrating potential as well as the possible irritant effects of a 14-day hydrating treatment consisting of daily application of serum and cream to the skin of two dry targeted areas. Thirty-three (33) subjects will be enrolled in this study and will be divided into three different treatment groups of 11 subjects each. Apart from the formulation of the cream which varies between the three groups, the subjects will receive the same serum and adhere to the same study plan for fourteen days. Each subject's baseline condition before treatment will serve as a control for effects observed after treatment on targeted areas. Read Less
