Cenobamate (YKP3089) is a small molecule approved in the United States (US), Europe and several other countries around the world for the treatment of Partial-Onset (focal) seizures in adult subjects (≥18 years of age). In the US it is approved for use as monotherapy, however, there is little clinical data assessing its use as monotherapy in adults with POS. This study is designed to explore the effectiveness of doses of 100 mg/day and 200 mg/day as monotherapy in adult subjects with newly diagno... Read More

This clinical trial keeps track of and collects follow-up information from patients who are currently enrolled on or have participated in a Children's Oncology Group study. Developing a way to keep track of patients who have participated in Children's Oncology Group studies may allow doctors learn more about the long-term effects of cancer treatment and help them reduce problems related to treatment and improve patient quality of life.

The intervention consists of tailored, site-specific approaches for three core implementation strategies: education, audit/feedback and opinion leaders. Hospital units will be randomized to low-intensity or high-intensity coaching for the implementation of the tailored strategies.

People with diabetes often experience foot ulcers, which can harm their ability to move, lower their quality of life, and increase the chances of losing a limb. These diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) commonly come back (recur) even after they've healed, so it's crucial to stop them from returning to avoid toe, foot , or leg amputation. While wearing special shoes to reduce pressure on the feet is essential for healing and preventing DFUs, many people struggle to follow this treatment plan once their... The objective of the rFVIIa for Acute Hemorrhagic Stroke Administered at Earliest Time (FASTEST) Trial is to establish the first treatment for acute spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) within a time window and subgroup of patients that is most likely to benefit. The central hypothesis is that rFVIIa, administered within 120 minutes from stroke onset with an identified subgroup of patients most likely to benefit, will improve outcomes at 180 days as measured by the Modified Rankin Score (m... This research study is being conducted to develop a brain controlled medical device, called a brain-machine interface. The device will provide people with a spinal cord injury some ability to control an external device such as a computer cursor or robotic limb by using their thoughts along with sensory feedback.
Development of a brain-machine interface is very difficult and currently only limited technology exists in this area of neuroscience. Other studies have shown that people with high spin... Read More
