The city of Los Angeles, California, currently has 7 active clinical trials seeking participants for Multiple Sclerosis research studies.
A Study to Investigate Long-term Safety and Tolerability of Tolebrutinib in Participants With Multiple Sclerosis.
Recruiting
This is a Phase 3 extension, global, multicenter study to assess the long-term safety and tolerability of tolebrutinib in adult participants (aged ≥18 years) with RMS, PPMS, or NRSPMS who were previously enrolled in the Phase 2b LTS (LTS16004) or 1 of the 4 Phase 3 tolebrutinib pivotal trials (GEMINI 1 \[EFC16033\], GEMINI 2 \[EFC16034\], HERCULES \[EFC16645\], or PERSEUS \[EFC16035\]). Efficacy and Safety Study of Frexalimab (SAR441344) in Adults With Nonrelapsing Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis
Recruiting
The purpose of this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel group study is to determine the efficacy of frexalimab in delaying the disability progression and the safety up to 36 months double-blind administration of study intervention compared to placebo in male and female participants with nrSPMS (aged 18 to 60 years at the time of enrollment). People diagnosed with nrSPMS are eligible for enrollment as long as they meet all the inclusion criteria and none of the exclusion criter... Read More

Effect of a Fasting Mimicking Diet on Patients With Multiple Sclerosis (FMDMS)
Recruiting
In the proposed study, investigators will assess the safety and feasibility of cycles of a fasting mimicking diet (FMD) and its effect on Multiple Sclerosis Quality of Life (MSQOL) in relapsing MS (RMS) patients treated with standard disease modifying therapies (FMDMS). To test the primary hypothesis, investigators will compare the composite quality of life score in terms of improvement in disability, fatigue, and cognitive function with the fasting protocol, as compared to a Mediterranean diet... MS-ResearchBiomarkerS
Recruiting
This study is being conducted to investigate risk factors for disability progression in Multiple Sclerosis and related disorders (MSRD). The primary goal is to assess whether combining information from visual assessment, blood markers, as well as historical and ongoing longitudinal MRIs of the brain, orbit (the part of the skull where eyes are located), and/or spinal cord can predict changes in quantitative disability measures related to MSRD and neurological disease.
