The purpose of this study is to examine the mechanisms of brain injury contributing to postoperative neurocognitive disorders (PNCD) in an at-risk population (obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)) undergoing surgery. The overall objective of this research is to test the effectiveness of a parenting program on Filipino parents living in California. The sample will include 180 Filipino immigrant families, half of which will receive the Online Incredible Years® School Age Basic & Advanced Parent Training Program (intervention) and the other half will receive the American Academy of Pediatrics' Bright Futures handouts (control) and be placed on a 3-month waitlist for the IY parenting program.

Danazol for Treatment of Cytopenias in Patients With Cirrhosis

This is a phase II pilot study designed to assess the safety and efficacy of danazol for treatment of cytopenias in patients with CPC A/B cirrhosis. Subjects with or without telomere mutations and/or shortened telomeres will be treated with danazol 600 mg per day by mouth for a duration of 24 months. A Clinical Investigation to Follow the Progress of Exuding Chronic Wounds Using Mepilex® Up as the Primary Dressing.

The goal of this clinical trial is to follow the progress of wounds in those with venous leg ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers while using an absorbent dressing called Mepilex Up. The main objective is to follow the progress of these wounds over time from initial visit to each follow-up visit. Participants will be asked to wear Mepilex Up dressing for up to 6 weeks of treatment or until healed, changed at every one-week interval.
