Safety Evaluation of Prismocitrate 18 in Patients Receiving CRRT
Recruiting
Prismocitrate 18 is a continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) solution to be used as a renal replacement solution and as an anticoagulant to prevent blood clotting in the extracorporeal circuit. The delivery of CRRT therapy is provided by the PrisMax System which includes regional citrate anticoagulation (RCA) software to facilitate citrate and calcium compensation prescription. The objectives of this study are: 1) to confirm the safety of Prismocitrate 18 in patients receiving CRRT using c... Read More

Neural Correlates of Real World Spatial Navigation in Humans
Recruiting
The purpose of this study is to understand the neural mechanisms that support real world spatial navigation in humans using deep brain recordings and stimulation during virtual reality (VR), augmented reality, and real world memory tasks. We will determine the cognitive (i.e., memory) and behavioral (i.e., body, head, eye position and movement) factors that modulate deep brain activity and the consequent effects of memory-enhancing deep brain stimulation.

Study of ALTO-101 in Patients With Schizophrenia
Recruiting
This is a Phase 2, double-blind, placebo-controlled, two-way crossover study to compare the efficacy of ALTO-101T versus placebo in change in electroencephalogram (EEG) cognitive processing markers and measures of cognition. Additional goals are to assess pharmacokinetic (PK), safety, and tolerability of the recently developed ALTO-101T transdermal delivery system (TDS) formulation in a patient population.

A Clinical Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of the FloStent in Men With Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia Symptoms
Recruiting
The goal of this study is to determine the safety and effectiveness of the FloStent, a medical device used to treat men with symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, compared to sham (procedure without deployment of the FloStent). All participants will undergo a flexible cystoscopy and those randomized to the treatment arm will receive the FloStent, while those randomized to the sham arm will not receive the FloStent.

Effect of Dalcetrapib on CV Risk in a Genetically Defined Population With a Recent ACS
Recruiting
This is a placebo-controlled, randomized, double-blind, parallel group, phase 3 multicenter study in subjects recently hospitalized for ACS and with the appropriate genetic profile. Subjects will provide informed consent before any study-specific procedures are performed. A separate informed consent will be allowed for an initial pre-screening genetic testing. Subjects meeting the AA genotype will then consent to the full study and confirmatory genetic testing as required. Subject enrollment may... Read More

Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) for Complicated Appendicitis
Recruiting
The exploratory objective of this pilot study is to evaluate the feasibility and safety of an enhanced recovery protocol that will allow adult patients to be discharged to home on an oral antibiotic regimen for three days following a laparoscopic appendectomy for complicated appendicitis. Feasibility will be determined by high compliance and adherence of patients to the postoperative instructions, while safety will be assessed by the incidence of postoperative infectious complications and requir... AeviceMD for Pediatric Asthma Management
Recruiting
A wearable remote patient monitor (AeviceMD) is to be used to monitor the respiratory health of pediatric asthma patients in this pilot study. Patients prescribed with AeviceMD should be able to gain better control over their disease during home management. Physicians should be able to optimize treatment for these patients using objective data collected from and of these patients outside of the clinic. The AeviceMD should also be used as a remote auscultation device for teleconsultations.

Conditioning SCID Infants Diagnosed Early
Recruiting
The investigators want to study if lower doses of chemotherapy will help babies with SCID to achieve good immunity with less short and long-term risks of complications after transplantation. This trial identifies babies with types of immune deficiencies that are most likely to succeed with this approach and offers them transplant early in life before they get severe infections or later if their infections are under control. It includes only patients receiving unrelated or mismatched related dono... Read More
