Men with localized, intermediate risk prostate cancer will be randomized to undergo either radical prostatectomy or the TULSA procedure, with a follow-up of 10 years in this multi-centered randomized control trial. This is a Phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multiple dose study to assess the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of JK07 in participants aged 18-85 with heart failure. This research study is being conducted to develop a brain controlled medical device, called a brain-machine interface. The device will provide people with a spinal cord injury some ability to control an external device such as a computer cursor or robotic limb by using their thoughts along with sensory feedback. Development of a brain-machine interface is very difficult and currently only limited technology exists in this area of neuroscience. Other studies have shown that people with high spinal cord injury still have intact brain areas capable of planning movements and grasps, but are not able to execute the movement plans. The device in this study involves implanting very fine recording electrodes into areas of the brain that are known to create arm movement plans and provide hand grasping information and sense feeling in the hand and fingers. These movement and grasp plans would then normally be sent to other regions of the brain to execute the actual movements. By tying into those pathways and sending the movement plan signals to a computer instead, the investigators can translate the movement plans into actual movements by a computer cursor or robotic limb. A key part of this study is to electrically stimulate the brain by introducing a small amount of electrical current into the electrodes in the sensory area of the brain. This will result in the sensation of touch in the hand and/or fingers. This stimulation to the brain will occur when the robotic limb touches the object, thereby allowing the brain to "feel" what the robotic arm is touching. The device being used in this study is called the Neuroport Array and is surgically implanted in the brain. This device and the implantation procedure are experimental which means that it has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). One Neuroport Array consists of a small grid of electrodes that will be implanted in brain tissue and a small cable that runs from the electrode grid to a small hourglass-shaped pedestal. This pedestal is designed to be attached to the skull and protrude through the scalp to allow for connection with the computer equipment. The top portion of the pedestal has a protective cover that will be in place when the pedestal is not in use. The top of this pedestal and its protective cover will be visible on the outside of the head. Three Neuroport Arrays and pedestals will be implanted in this study so three of these protective covers will be visible outside of the head. It will be possible to cover these exposed portions of the device with a hat or scarf. The investigators hope to learn how safe and effective the Neuroport array plus stimulation is in controlling computer generated images and real world objects, such as a robotic arm, using imagined movements of the arms and hands. The goal of this clinical trial is to test the effectiveness of an online parenting program on Filipino parents living in California. The main aims are to: * Test the effectiveness of the online Incredible Years® model of parent training and its impact on primary outcomes. * Determine the impact of intervention engagement (i.e., higher attendance) on parenting practices and child behavior outcomes. * Describe Intervention delivery and its online implementation in real-world community settings. The study involves two phases: * Phase 1: Participants will receive the Online Incredible Years® School Age Basic \& Advanced Parent Training Program (intervention) and complete parent-reported and child-reported measures at baseline, 3 months and 6 months. * Phase 2: Parenting Group Leaders will each participate in one semi-structured interview to inform the sustainability of the intervention in real world community settings. Researchers will compare 250 Filipino families, half of which will receive the intervention and the other half will receive the American Academy of Pediatrics' Bright Futures handouts (control) and be placed on a 3-month waitlist for the IY parenting program. Both groups will be followed for a minimum of 6 months with follow- up assessments that include parent-report and child report measures. Read Less

In this study, researchers will learn more about BIIB122 in participants with early-stage Parkinson's disease (PD). The study will include adults aged 30 to 80 who were diagnosed with PD within 2 years of starting the study. The main objective of the study is to learn about the effect BIIB122 has on slowing down the worsening of PD symptoms. The main question researchers want to answer is: - How long does it take for PD symptoms to worsen during BIIB122 treatment? Researchers will answer this and other questions by measuring the symptoms of PD over time using a variety of scoring tools. These include the Movement Disorder Society Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (MDS-UPDRS) and the modified Schwab and England Activities of Daily Living Scale (mSE-ADL). The MDS-UPDRS is used to measure symptoms of PD. It has 4 parts: Part I, II, III, and IV. Each part measures different aspects of motor and non-motor symptoms. The mSE-ADL measures a participant's ability to perform daily activities or personal chores. Researchers will also learn more about the safety of BIIB122. They will check participants for adverse events. Adverse events are unwanted health problems that may or may not be caused by the study drug. The study will be done as follows: * Participants will be randomly assigned to take either BIIBB122 or placebo. A placebo looks like the study drug but contains no real medicine. * Neither the researchers nor the participants will know if the participants are receiving BIIB122 or placebo. * Participants will take BIIB122 or placebo tablets by mouth once a day. * The treatment period for each participant will last between 48 and 144 weeks. * There will be a safety follow-up period for 2 weeks after the last dose of BIIB122. * In total, participants will have up to 29 study visits. * Participants will stay in the study for at least 1 year, up to about 3 years. This is a global, multicenter, 2-part study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of selinexor plus ruxolitinib in JAK inhibitor (JAKi) treatment-naïve myelofibrosis (MF) participants. The study will be conducted in two phases: Phase 1 (open-label) and Phase 3 (double-blind). Phase 1 (enrollment completed) was an open-label evaluation of the safety and recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) of selinexor in combination with ruxolitinib and included a dose escalation using a standard 3+3 design (Phase 1a) and a dose expansion part (Phase 1b). ABBV-RGX-314 (also known as RGX-314) is being developed as a novel one-time gene therapy for the treatment of neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD or nAMD). Wet AMD is characterized by loss of vision due to new, leaky blood vessel formation in the retina. Wet AMD is a significant cause of vision loss in the United States, Europe and Japan, with up to 2 million people living with wet AMD in these geographies alone. Current anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) therapies have significantly changed the landscape for treatment of wet AMD, becoming the standard of care due to their ability to maintain or prevent progression of vision loss in the majority of patients. These therapies, however, require life-long intraocular injections, typically repeated every 4 to 16 weeks in frequency, to maintain efficacy. Due to the burden of these treatments, patients often experience a decline in vision with reduced frequency of treatment over time. Read Less

The TARGET-HBV study engages an observational research design to conduct a comprehensive review of outcomes for patients with CHB infection. The initial phase of the study that enrolled patients treated with tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) was successfully completed. The current protocol (Amendment 1) describes the second phase of the study that will engage research activities for patients being managed for CHB in usual clinical practice in the US and Canada. The study addresses important clinical questions regarding the management of CHB by collecting and analyzing data from patients at academic and community medical centers. TARGET-HBV creates a robust database of real-world data regarding the natural history, management, and health outcomes related to antiviral treatments used in clinical practice. Read Less
