This prospective longitudinal study will follow participants with Multifocal Motor Neuropathy over time and collect data on their clinical outcomes, quality of life, and use of health care resources. Participants will follow their regular visit schedule with their treating physician, except for an optional second visit occurring 7 to 14 days after the start of the study to collect biomarker data. Hot flashes and night sweats (also known as vasomotor symptoms or VMS) are the most common symptoms which bother women in menopause. This study will follow women going through menopause who have hot flashes and night sweats that cause them bother. They will be starting a non-hormonal therapy prescribed by their healthcare provider (HCP) to treat these symptoms. The women will visit their HCP's office, research center, or both. They will receive prescriptions for the non-hormonal therapy from their HCP for up to 1 year. This real-world study will provide information on outcomes from various non-hormonal therapies. The study sponsor (Astellas) will not decide which therapy the women receive. However, the sponsor will provide instructions on when the women visit their clinic, and what is recorded during the study. Some of the visits will be in-person, but most will be virtual. The virtual visits can be carried out at home using a smartphone, tablet or computer. The main aim of the study is to check if the hot flashes and night sweats that bother women change after 12 weeks (3 months) of treatment. The study will also check the women's sleep patterns, their productivity at work, and their general well-being before and after starting treatment. Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome (IC/BPS) is a chronic and debilitating urological complex of disorders characterized by symptoms of bladder pain or discomfort, mostly upon bladder filling, and often accompanied by lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). This study will assess how safe and effective BOTOX (onabotulinumtoxinA) is in treating IC/BPS. Adverse events and change in disease symptoms will be evaluated. BOTOX (onabotulinumtoxinA) is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of Interstitial Cystitis/Bladder Pain Syndrome (IC/BPS). Study doctors randomly assign the participants to 1 of 2 groups, called treatment arms, to receive BOTOX or placebo. There is a 1 in 2 chance that participants will be assigned to placebo. Approximately 80 female participants, aged 18 to 75 years, with a diagnosis of IC/BPS will be enrolled in approximately 40 sites in the United States and Canada. Participants will receive BOTOX or placebo injected into the bladder on Day 1 and will be followed for at least 12 weeks in treatment 1. Eligible participants may request additional dose of BOTOX between Weeks 12 and 24, and will be followed for 12 weeks in treatment period 2. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. This study will look at how well CagriSema helps people with type 2 diabetes lower their blood sugar and body weight. CagriSema is a new investigational medicine. Doctors may not yet prescribe CagriSema. CagriSema will be compared to a medicine called tirzepatide that doctors may prescribe in some countries. Participants will get either CagriSema or tirzepatide. Which treatment participant get is decided by chance like flipping a coin. Participant will have an equal chance of receiving either drug. This study will look at the effects of CagriSema on cardiovascular events (for example heart attack and stroke) in people living with cardiovascular disease. Participants will either get CagriSema or a dummy medicine (also called "placebo") which has no effect on the body. Which treatment participants will get will be decided by chance. Participant's chance of getting CagriSema or placebo is the same. Participants will inject the study medicine once a week. The study medicine will be injected briefly with a thin needle, typically in the stomach, thighs or upper arms. The study will last for up to 4.5 years. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to learn about the safety and effects of sisunatovir. Sisunatovir is studied for the possible treatment of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). RSV is a virus that causes lung infections with cold-like symptoms, but it can cause severe illness in some people. Sisunatovir is studied in adults: who are not admitted to the hospital and who have high chances of having a severe illness from RSV infection. This study is seeking participants who: Are confirmed to have RSV. Have symptoms of a lung infection. Are 18 years of age or older. Have one or more of the following which increases the chances of RSV illness: A long-term lung disease. heart failure. a condition that weakens the immune system. Are 65 years of age or older and do not have any of the conditions above Half of the participants in this study will receive sisunatovir. The other half will receive a placebo for 5 days. Placebo looks same like the study medicine but does not have any medication. Both sisunatovir and placebo will be taken by mouth. The study will compare the experiences of people receiving sisunatovir to those of the people who do not. This will help decide if sisunatovir is safe and effective. Participants will attend about 8-10 study visits over 5 weeks. During this time, they will have: visits at the study clinic, blood work, swabs of the nose, questionnaires, a follow-up phone call. The purpose of this study is to determine whether treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) with positive airway pressure starting shortly after acute ischemic stroke or high risk TIA (1) reduces recurrent stroke, acute coronary syndrome, and all-cause mortality 6 months after the event, and (2) improves stroke outcomes at 3 months in patients who experienced an ischemic stroke. This is a Phase 2 superiority study of LBP-EC01, a recombinant bacteriophage cocktail, with an initial open-label 3-arm pharmacokinetic (PK) lead-in portion of 30 patients to evaluate the optimal dosing regimen to be used in the subsequent 288 patient blinded portion of the study which will be randomized 1:1 comparing LBP-EC01 + antibiotic versus placebo + antibiotic in patients with a history of prior urinary tract infection (UTI) cased by E. coli.
