The iCaRe2 is a multi-institutional resource created and maintained by the Fred \& Pamela Buffett Cancer Center to collect and manage standardized, multi-dimensional, longitudinal data and biospecimens on consented adult cancer patients, high-risk individuals, and normal controls. The distinct characteristic of the iCaRe2 is its geographical coverage, with a significant percentage of small and rural hospitals and cancer centers. The iCaRe2 advances comprehensive studies of risk factors of cancer development and progression and enables the design of novel strategies for prevention, screening, early detection and personalized treatment of cancer. This study is a type-1 hybrid effectiveness-implementation RCT comparing a novel family-inclusive childhood obesity treatment program, the "Healthy Living Program" (HeLP), to a protocol that enhances usual primary care to deliver Recommended Treatment of Obesity in Primary Care (RTOP). Children with obesity and their families will be referred to the study by primary care providers and randomized to HeLP or RTOP. The clinical setting is a practice-based research network serving majority Hispanic and Medicaid-insured populations. The intensive phase and booster sessions of HeLP will take place at recreation centers located near the clinics and will be led by health educators employed by the clinics. The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about the use of incentives in pediatric patients requiring medical procedures. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Are incentives effective at reducing pediatric anxiety for medical procedures? * What is the best way to use incentives with pediatric populations requiring medical procedures? Participants will be provided support in preparation for their procedure and during the procedure by a child life specialist and might receive an incentive prize after their procedure. Participants distress levels during the procedure will be observed and they will be asked to rate their anxiety on a visual analog scale. Researchers will compare the anxiety of those who did or did not receive an incentive after their procedure to see if incentives reduced procedural anxiety. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the Genesis Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) imaging system for use in pediatric respiratory disease populations including neuromuscular and bronchopulmonary dysplasia, as well as in age and height matched controls. Age-related hearing loss, presbycusis, affects up to 50% of American adults. There are two main causes for presbycusis: 1) Progressive death of hair cells in the inner ear, and 2) Central hearing loss, or the reduced ability to decipher the sound source of interest from other competing sounds in a multi-source complex environment. The first cause is better understood and treatment options, such as hearing aids and cochlear implants, are available. However, central hearing loss is not as well understood and there is not a treatment available at this time. This study aims to advance our understanding of central hearing loss by evaluating the abilities of younger and older listeners in two primary outcome measures: to 1) neurologically process sound stimuli and 2) focus on conversational speech in the presence of spatially-separated competing background noise. A test using Auditory Brainstem Responses (ABR) will be used to evaluate the brain's response to clicking sounds. This study will assess all waveform data, but will focus particularly on wave III. Sentence in noise tests will be used to assess each subject's ability to process speech in noisy situations. Both the ABR and sentence in noise tests are non-invasive and are commonly used in audiology practices to diagnosis and treat a variety of audiological pathologies. Read Less
