A Study of the Safety of Vonoprazan Exposure in Pregnant Women and Their Offspring

The main objective of the study is to compare the maternal, fetal, and infant outcomes of pregnant women who are exposed to vonoprazan during pregnancy with outcomes of an internal comparison cohort of pregnant women who are unexposed to vonoprazan during pregnancy but who may be exposed to other products for the treatment of conditions for which vonoprazan may be prescribed.

One reason for poor outcomes is late diagnosis, as the majority of gastric cancers in the United States are diagnosed at a relatively advanced stage where curative resection is unlikely. PyloPlus Urea Breath Test System Post Therapy Efficacy Confirmation Study

This is a multi-center, non-randomized, open label study. Subjects will be enrolled if they are deemed eligible given the inclusion criteria. Subjects who meet all inclusion criteria and none of the exclusion criteria will be entered into the study. Subjects will be exposed to non-radioactive 13C-Urea with citric acid, and may submit a stool sample or undergo endoscopy for Rapid Urease Test and Histology samples.
