There are currently 57 active clinical trials seeking participants for Myelodysplastic Syndrome research studies. The states with the highest number of trials for Autism participants are California, Texas, Illinois and New York.
Alpha/Beta CD19+ Depleted Haploidentical Transplantation + Zometa for Pediatric Hematologic Malignancies and Solid Tumors
Recruiting
This phase I trial studies the safety of transplantation with a haploidentical donor peripheral blood stem cell graft depleted of TCRαβ+ cells and CD19+ cells in conjunction with the immunomodulating drug, Zoledronate, given in the post-transplant period to treat pediatric patients with relapsed or refractory hematologic malignancies or high risk solid tumors.

Azacitidine and Quizartinib for the Treatment of Myelodysplastic Syndrome or Myelodysplastic/Myeloproliferative Neoplasm With FLT3 or CBL Mutations
Recruiting
This phase I/II trial studies the side effects and best dose of quizartinib when given with azacitidine and to see how well they work in treating patients with myelodysplastic syndrome or myelodysplastic/myeloproliferative neoplasm with FLT3 or CBL mutations. Chemotherapy drugs, such as azacitidine, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Quizartinib may stop the growth of cancer c... Read More

Adding Itacitinib to Cyclophosphamide and Tacrolimus for the Prevention of Graft Versus Host Disease in Patients Undergoing Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplants
Recruiting
This clinical trial evaluates the safety and effectiveness of adding itacitinib to cyclophosphamide and tacrolimus for the prevention of graft versus host disease (GVHD) in patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplant. Itacitinib is an enzyme inhibitor that may regulate the development, proliferation, and activation of immune cells important for GVHD development. Cyclophosphamide and tacrolimus are immunosuppressive agents that may prevent GVHD in patients who receive stem cell transpl... Read More

Monitoring Minimal Residual Disease of Patients With Acute Myelogenous Leukemia or High Grade Myelodysplastic Syndrome
Recruiting
This study is being performed to develop assays to determine the impact of the therapy patients receive for treatment of AML or MDS and to determine if these tests can identify those patients who are at a greater risk for having their disease relapse.

Administration of Donor Multi TAA-Specific T Cells for AML or MDS (ADSPAM)
Recruiting
This research study uses special blood cells called multiple tumor-associated antigen (TAA)-specific T cells (a new experimental therapy) to treat patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) which has come back, or may come back, or has not gone away after standard treatment, including an allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT). The investigators have previously used this sort of therapy to treat Hodgkin or non-Hodgkin lymphomas that are infected wi... Read More

A Randomized Phase II Study of Hyperbaric Oxygen in Improving Engraftment in Umbilical Cord Blood Stem Cell Transplant
Recruiting
The UCB transplant is a type of stem cell transplant used to treat cancer of the blood or lymph glands. The UCB transplant has advantages over other types of transplants such as ease of obtaining the umbilical cord blood, absence of donor risks, reduced risks of contagious infections, and the availability for immediate use. The UCB transplant is also associated with a lower incidence of graft versus host disease, or GvHD (in GvHD, the transplanted graft attacks the recipient organs).

Assessment of Chimerism and Relapse Post Bone Marrow/Hematopoietic Cell Transplant (HCT) Using AlloHeme Test
Recruiting
AlloHeme is a chimerism test service that utilizes NGS technology to analyze SNP loci to quantify donor and recipient cells by measuring genomic DNA. Before transplant, patient and donor peripheral blood sample will be collected to identify informative marker for routine chimerism testing and baseline establishment for AlloHeme. Post-transplant blood or bone marrow samples are obtained and compared to the baseline sample profiles to calculate % chimerism of recipient cells in the blood and/or bo... Read More

Study in Relapsed/Refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia or Myelodysplastic Syndrome Patients to Determine the Recommended Dose of CYAD-02
Recruiting
An open-label, phase I, multi-center study to determine in relapsed/refractory (r/r) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) patients the recommended dose of CYAD-02 after a non-myeloablative preconditioning chemotherapy followed by a potential CYAD-02 consolidation cycle for non-progressive patient. A maximum of 27 r/r AML/MDS patients will be evaluated in this study in case of no dose limiting toxicity (DLT) and no replacement of patients.
