There are currently 76 active clinical trials seeking participants for Renal Cell Carcinoma research studies. The states with the highest number of trials for Renal Cell Carcinoma participants are California, Texas, New York and Florida.
ORACLE: Observation of ResiduAl Cancer With Liquid Biopsy Evaluation
Recruiting
The purpose of ORACLE is to demonstrate the ability of a novel ctDNA assay developed by Guardant Health to detect recurrence in individuals treated for early-stage solid tumors. It is necessary that ctDNA test results are linked to clinical outcomes in order to demonstrate clinical validity for recurrence detection and explore its value in a healthcare environment subject to cost containment.

The Gut Microbiome and Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor Therapy in Solid Tumors
Recruiting
The microbiome has the potential to serve as a robust biomarker of clinical response to immunotherapy. Additionally, microbial manipulation, through diet, exercise, prebiotics, probiotics, or microbially-derived metabolites, may prove to be beneficial in promoting anti-tumor immune responses. However, large prospective studies in humans with longitudinal sample collection and standardized methods are needed to understand how microbiota and their byproducts affect cancer therapies, particularly a... A Phase II Study of Cyberknife Radiosurgery for Renal Cell Carcinoma
Recruiting
CyberKnife Based Radiosurgery is a way to deliver large doses of radiation very accurately to a tumor. The ability of this technology to minimize radiation dose to organs adjacent to the target tumor allows a high dose to be delivered to the tumor, thus potentially increasing the efficacy of radiation treatment. Currently, radiosurgery is commonly used for brain metastases, Stage I lung cancer, spine tumors, and localized prostate cancer. The purpose of this protocol is to evaluate the role of R... Read More

The PIONEER Initiative: Precision Insights On N-of-1 Ex Vivo Effectiveness Research Based on Individual Tumor Ownership (Precision Oncology)
Recruiting
The PIONEER Initiative stands for Precision Insights On N-of-1 Ex vivo Effectiveness Research. The PIONEER Initiative is designed to provide access to functional precision medicine to any cancer patient with any tumor at any medical facility. Tumor tissue is saved at time of biopsy or surgery in multiple formats, including fresh and cryopreserved as a living biospecimen. SpeciCare assists with access to clinical records in order to provide information back to the patient and the patient's clinic... Read More
