Comprehensive Omics Analysis of Pediatric Solid Tumors and Establishment of a Repository for Related Biological Studies
Recruiting
Background: - Laboratory investigators who are studying common childhood cancers are interested in developing a tissue repository to collect and store blood, serum, tissue, urine, or tumors of children who have cancer or adults who have common childhood cancers. To develop this repository, additional samples will be collected from children and adults who have been diagnosed with common childhood cancers such as leukemia and tumors of the central nervous system. Recruiting
Background: - Some people with cancer have solid tumors. Others have refractory leukemia. This may not go away after treatment. Researchers want to see if a drug called TURALIO(R) can shrink tumors or stop them from growing. Objectives: - To find the highest safe dose and side effects of TURALIO(R). To see if it helps treat certain types of cancer. Eligibility: - People ages 3-35 with a solid tumor or leukemia that has returned or not responded to cancer therapies. Design: * Participants... GRID Therapy for Extremity Soft Tissue Sarcoma
Recruiting
Patients with extremity soft tissue sarcoma (STS) are at high risk of recurrence. Pre-operative radiotherapy is used to increase the safe removal of tumors and improve local control in these patients. Increasing the preoperative radiotherapy dose with standard techniques might lead to normal tissue toxicity and postoperative wound complications. GRID radiation therapy is a technique that may increases radiation dose with minimal added toxicity. It is hypothesized that GRID radiation dose will i... Read More

Collecting Blood Samples From Patients With and Without Cancer to Evaluate Tests for Early Cancer Detection
Recruiting
This study collects blood and tissue samples from patients with cancer and without cancer to evaluate tests for early cancer detection. Collecting and storing samples of blood and tissue from patients with and without cancer to study in the laboratory may help researchers develop tests for the early detection of cancers.

Molecular Testing for the MD Anderson Cancer Center Personalized Cancer Therapy Program
Recruiting
This study performs standardized testing of tumor tissue samples to learn which genes are mutated (have changed) in order to provide personalized cancer therapy options to cancer patients at MD Anderson. This may help doctors use testing information on tumors to identify clinical trials that may be most relevant to patients. Researchers may also use the information learned from this study to develop a database of the different kinds of mutations in cancer-related genes.

A Checklist (Advanced Care Planning) for The Assessment of Mobility Needs in Patients With Sarcoma
Recruiting
This trial tests how well the advanced care planning around mobility needs checklist tool works to assess future mobility needs in patients with sarcoma. Gathering information about sarcoma patients that have had surgery to either save or remove a limb may help doctors learn more about a patient's mobility needs. Using an advance care planning mobility needs assessment may help improve the quality of life in patients with sarcoma by helping them plan for their future mobility needs.
