Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Treatment With Dementia Patients

An open label pilot study in mild to moderate AD/ADRD patients to assess the effects of treatment with ECHS AD/ADRD pulsed electromagnetic treatment device on disease progression. Enrolled patients will receive active devices. They will treat themselves at home three times a day for 15 minutes over 120 days. Primary end point is the The Alzheimer's Disease Assessment Scale-Cognitive Subscale. Participants will be followed-up for 9 months post-treatment.

Effect of 10 mg Xanamem on Dementia Due to Alzheimer's Disease

Xanamem® is being developed as a potential treatment for symptomatic, early stages of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).
This XanaMIA Phase 2b/3 study is to investigate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of Xanamem in in mild or moderate dementia due to AD. Trial participants will be randomized to either receive 10mg of Xanamem once daily or a placebo for 36 weeks at a 1:1 ratio in a double-blinded fashion.

This study will investigate transcranial pulse stimulation (TPS) as a method of enhancing cognitive and neural function. The study team will apply this low intensity, magnetically pulse technology to key brain regions in a randomized, sham-controlled trial (RCT). The study will determine the magnitude of changes in cognitive function and brain function and structure between a pre- and post-stimulation among 10 typically-aging older adults and 10 patients with mild dementia.
