This phase II trial studies how well ramucirumab and paclitaxel or the FOLFIRI regimen (leucovorin calcium, fluorouracil, and irinotecan hydrochloride) work in treating patients with small bowel cancers that have spread extensively to other anatomic sites (advanced) or are no longer responding to treatment (refractory). Ramucirumab is a monoclonal antibody that attaches to and inhibits a molecule called VEGFR-2. This may restrain new blood vessel formation therefore reducing nutrient supply to tumor which may interfere with tumor cell growth and expansion. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, leucovorin calcium, fluorouracil, and irinotecan hydrochloride work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving Ramucirumab plus paclitaxel or FOLFIRI, may be helpful in treating advanced or refractory small bowel cancers and may help patients live longer. Read Less

This study is open to people 50 years or older with an eye condition called geographic atrophy. The purpose of this study is to compare a medicine called BI 771716 with a medicine called pegcetacoplan. BI 771716 is being developed to treat people with geographic atrophy. Pegcetacoplan is a medicine already used to treat people with geographic atrophy. In this study, participants receive either BI 771716 or pegcetacoplan as injections in the eye. Participants are in the study for a little longer than a year and visit the study site every 4 weeks. At the visits, the study doctor checks the eyes of the participants. The results are compared between the groups of participants to see whether the treatment works. The study doctor also regularly checks participants' health and takes note of any unwanted effects. TIVDAK is used for the treatment of cervical cancer that has come back after chemotherapy. Chemotherapy is a treatment that uses medicines to stop the growth of cancer cells. This is done either by killing the cells or by stopping them from growing. The purpose of this study is to learn about possible side effects of TIVDAK, specially to any side effect that is related to the eye. A side effect is anything a medicine does to your body that is not part of how the medicine treats disease. * This study is seeking for participants who: Are willing to take all the required eye tests * Have not received TIVDAK before * Do not have any active eye issues. Participants will receive TIVDAK once every 3 weeks as an infusion that will be injected into the vein. Participants will visit an eye care provider at 3 stages: * before starting the treatment, * before each of the first 9 infusions * then monthly for 3 months after they stop taking TIVDAK. In this study, researchers will learn more about a study drug called litifilimab (BIIB059) in participants with cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE). The study will focus on participants who have either active subacute CLE or chronic CLE, or both. They may also have systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The participants did not respond to antimalarial therapy or had problems with the treatment that made it hard to continue. The main objective of the study is to learn about the effect litifilimab has on lowering the activity of the skin disease. Researchers will measure symptoms of CLE over time using a variety of scoring tools. These include the Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus Disease Area and Severity Index (CLASI), the Cutaneous Lupus Activity of Investigator's Global Assessment-Revised (CLA-IGA-R), and the SELENA-SLEDAI Flare Index (SFI). The main questions researchers want to answer are: * How many participants have a score of 0 or 1 on the CLA-IGA-R looking at skin redness after treatment? * How many participants have their skin disease activity go down by at least 70%? Researchers will also learn more about the safety of litifilimab. They will study how participants' immune systems respond to litifilimab. Additionally, they will measure the effect litifilimab and CLE have on the quality of life of participants using a group of questionnaires. The study will be split into 2 parts - Part A and Part B. Both parts will be done as follows: * After screening, participants will be randomized to receive either litifilimab or placebo for the 1st treatment period. A placebo looks like the study drug but contains no real medicine. * Participants will receive either litifilimab or placebo as injections under the skin once every 4 weeks. * The 1st treatment period will be double blinded which means neither the researchers nor the participants will know if the participants are receiving litifilimab or placebo. * This double blinded treatment period will last 24 weeks, after which the 2nd treatment period will begin. * During the 2nd treatment period, all participants will receive litifilimab for 28 weeks. * After completing treatment in this study, participants that qualify will be given the choice to join the Long-Term Extension study, 230LE305. EYE-RES-103 is a randomized, double masked pivotal study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of 2 dose levels of EYE103 in comparison with the active control, ranibizumab, in patients with diabetic macular edema (DME). In the first year, all 3 treatment groups will be treated every 4 weeks with either EYE103 or ranibizumab.
