The purpose of this study is to understand the safety and effects of a combined influenza and COVID-19 vaccine. This combined vaccine is compared to separate vaccines for the protection against influenza and SARS-CoV-2. Influenza and COVID-19 are diseases that can spread easily from one person to another and cause body aches, fever, cough, and other symptoms. Giving both influenza and COVID-19 vaccines together against influenza and SARS-CoV-2 could provide great benefits to both patients and caregivers in terms of simple and easy care. Around 9000 participants will be assigned into 1 of 4 vaccination groups (Group A, B, C or D) by chance. Cohort 1: Around 4500 participants will be assigned by chance to one of the following: Group A:Influenza and COVID-19 combination A vaccine, given at the same time in the right arm and placebo (an injection consisting of just salt water and no medicines in it) in the left arm. Group B: COVID-19 vaccine, given at the same time to the right arm and licensed influenza vaccine in the left arm. Cohort 2: Around 4500 participants will be assigned by chance to one of the following: Group C: Influenza and COVID-19 combination B vaccine, given at the same time in the right arm and placebo in the left arm. Group D: COVID-19 vaccine, given at the same time in the right arm and licenced influenza vaccine in the left arm. All participants will receive 2 injections as per their assigned study group at Visit 1. The participants will be followed for about 6 months. During this time, the study will compare participant experiences when they receive a combined vaccination to when they receive separate vaccinations. This is a double-blind, saline-controlled, and randomized study with blinded assessments using a single dose. Subjects that have a current diagnosis of chronic lumbar disc disease and meet eligibility criteria will be enrolled. Chronic lumbar disc disease is defined as back and/or radicular pain with degeneration of the disc confirmed by patient history, physical examination, and radiographic measures such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), plain film, myelography, discography, or other acceptable means. The goal of this clinical study is to learn more about the effects of switching to the study drugs, bictegravir (BIC)/lenacapavir (LEN), fixed-dose combination (FDC) versus current therapy bictegravir/emtricitabine/tenofovir alafenamide (B/F/TAF) FDC in people living with HIV-1 (PWH). This is a non-blinded, prospective, multi-center, single arm longitudinal cohort study (patient serving as their own control), to evaluate the effectiveness of diabetes with the Eversense CGM System non-adjunctively compared to self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG) using a blood glucose (BG) meter in participants with either Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes. Subjects will serve as their own control, with their baseline based on using SMBG to manage their diabetes for the first 6 months followed by using Eversense CGM System non-adjunctively for the second 6 months. Total follow-up duration is 12 months. The investigation will include both clinic visits and home use of Eversense CGM System. The nonadjunctive phase will have two sensors, up to 90-day duration, inserted sequentially. This randomized phase III trial studies how well imatinib mesylate works in combination with two different chemotherapy regimens in treating patients with newly diagnosed Philadelphia chromosome positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Imatinib mesylate has been shown to improve outcomes in children and adolescents with Philadelphia chromosome positive (Ph+) ALL when given with strong chemotherapy, but the combination has many side effects. This trial is testing whether a different chemotherapy regimen may work as well as the stronger one but have fewer side effects when given with imatinib. The trial is also testing how well the combination of chemotherapy and imatinib works in another group of patients with a type of ALL that is similar to Ph+ ALL. This type of ALL is called "ABL-class fusion positive ALL", and because it is similar to Ph+ ALL, is thought it will respond well to the combination of agents used to treat Ph+ ALL. Read Less
