The goal of this clinical trial is to demonstrate that the OPTIMIZER® Integra CCM-D System (the "CCM-D System") can safely and effective convert induced ventricular fibrillation (VF) and spontaneous ventricular tachycardia and/or ventricular fibrillation (VT/VF) episodes in subjects with Stage C or D heart failure who remain symptomatic despite being on guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT), are not indicated for cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT), and have heart failure with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF ≤40%). Eligible subjects will be implanted with the CCM-D System. A subset of subjects will be induced into ventricular fibrillation "on the table" in the implant procedure room. During the follow-up period, inappropriate shock rate and device-related complications will be evaluated. The follow-up period is expected to last at least two years. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to learn about the safety and effects of the study medicine ritlecitinib for the possible treatment of nonsegmental vitiligo. Vitiligo causes white patches on your skin when the cells that give your skin color are destroyed. Nonsegmental means that it can affect both sides of the body such as both knees and both hands. Ritlecitinib has been tested in earlier clinical studies and has a favorable safety profile. At present there are no approved medications taken by mouth to treat nonsegmental vitiligo. This study is seeking participants who: * Are 18 years of age or older. * are confirmed to have nonsegmental vitiligo for at least 3 months. * Are willing to stop all other treatments that they may be taking for vitiligo. In this study participants will be chosen by chance, like drawing names out of a hat to receive 1 of 3 treatments: •Part I where two different amounts of ritlecitinib (50 mg and 100 mg) are taken once daily. It will be compared to placebo. Placebo is a dummy capsule. It doesn't have any medicine used in the study. Participants receiving placebo who have not responded to treatment after 52 weeks will be given 100 milligrams or 50 milligrams of ritlecitinib for the remaining 52 weeks of the study. • In Part II, participants will only receive 100 milligrams of ritlecitinib. About 1000 participants will take part in Part I and around 450 in Part II globally. The study will compare the experiences of people receiving ritlecitinib to those of the people who do not. This will help see if ritlecitinib is safe and effective. People in Part I will be in this study for about 26 months and people in Part II will be in this study for about 14 months. During the study, participants in part I will need to visit the study site at least 17 times. In part II, participants will visit at least 11 times. Participants will undergo various tests and procedures such as: * vitiligo rating, * physical examinations, * hearing tests, * blood tests, * x-ray, * ECG, * photographs of areas with vitiligo. The purpose of this study is to learn about how well the 20-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (20vPnC) works against radiologically-confirmed community-acquired pneumonia (RAD+CAP) due to the 7 new serotypes (types of a bacteria called Streptococcus pneumoniae that cause pneumonia) included in 20vPnC vaccine. This study is seeking participants who: * are male or female ≥65 years of age. * are hospitalized with physician suspicion of community acquired pneumonia (CAP). * have pneumonia confirmed with imaging like a chest x-ray Participants will be asked to provide demographic and medical history information, and to provide a urine sample that will be used to test for pneumonia caused by specific strains of a bacteria called Streptococcus pneumoniae. We will compare the proportion of participants who have pneumonia caused by specific strains of the bacteria Streptococcus pneumoniae and were previously vaccinated with 20vPnC with the proportion of participants who have pneumonia caused by something other than vaccine type Streptococcus pneumoniae and have been vaccinated with 20vPnC. Participants will actively take part in the study for about 1-2 days. Information on participant's illness and hospitalization details will be collected through day 30 of their hospitalization through medical chart review. Read Less

This phase III trial compares the effect of active symptom monitoring and patient education to patient education alone in helping young women with stage I-III breast cancer stay on their hormone therapy medicines. The patient education tool contains interactive weblinks which provide patients with education material about breast cancer and side effects of therapy. Symptom monitoring is a weblink via email or text message with questions asking about symptoms. Hormone therapy for breast cancer can cause side effects, and may cause some women to stop treatment early. Asking about symptoms more often may help women keep taking hormone therapy medicines. The research study is being done to see if ziltivekimab can be used to treat people who were admitted to hospital because of a heart attack. Ziltivekimab might reduce development of heart disease, thereby preventing new heart attacks or strokes. Participants will either get ziltivekimab (active medicine) or placebo (a dummy medicine which has no effect on the body). Which treatment participants get is decided by chance. The chance of getting ziltivekimab or placebo is the same. The participant will need to inject the study medicine into a flat skin surface in there stomach, thigh, or upper arm once every month. Ziltivekimab is not yet approved in any country or region in the world. It is a new medicine that doctors cannot prescribe. The study will last for about 2 years. Read Less
