This study will be done to see if ziltivekimab can be used to treat people living with heart failure and inflammation. Participants will either get ziltivekimab or placebo. Participants will get study medicine for once-monthly injections either in a pre-filled syringe to inject the study medicine into a skinfold or a pen-injector to inject the study medicine into flat skin. The study is expected to last for up to 4 years. Participants will have up to 20 clinic visits. Participants will have to use a study app on their phone to record and share information about all their injections of study medicine and to fill in questionnaires. Read Less

This is a prospective cohort study designed to define the impact of HIV infection and antiretroviral therapy (ART) on young adults with perinatal HIV infection (YAPHIV) as they transition into adulthood. Endometriosis is a painful disorder of the uterus affecting 6-10% of women of childbearing age. Endometriosis affects daily activities, social relationships, sexuality and sexual activity, and mental health. This study will evaluate how well elagolix in combination with combined oral contraceptives (COC) works within the body and/or how safe it is compared to placebo (does not contain treatment drug). This study will assess the dysmenorrhea (painful periods) response in participants with endometriosis and associated pain. Elagolix is an approved drug for the management of moderate to severe pain associated with endometriosis. Participants are randomly put in 1 of 3 groups, called treatment arms. Each group receives a different treatment. There is a 1 in 3 chance that participants will be assigned to placebo. Adult female participants who still have periods with a diagnosis of endometriosis will be enrolled. Around 800 participants will be enrolled in the study at multiple sites in the United States, including Puerto Rico. Participants will receive oral elagolix or placebo tablets in combination with combined oral contraceptive (COC) or placebo capsules for 3 months. All the participants will receive elagolix tablets in combination with COC tablets from Month 4 through Month 18. There will be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the course of the study at a hospital or clinic. The phase III trial compares the effect of pembrolizumab to observation for the treatment of patients with early-stage triple-negative breast cancer who achieved a pathologic complete response after preoperative chemotherapy in combination with pembrolizumab. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. This trial may help researchers determine if observation will result in the same risk of cancer coming back as pembrolizumab after surgery in triple-negative breast cancer patients who achieve pathologic complete response after preoperative chemotherapy with pembrolizumab. This phase III trial compares the effect of adding carboplatin to the standard of care chemotherapy drug cabazitaxel versus cabazitaxel alone in treating prostate cancer that keeps growing even when the amount of testosterone in the body is reduced to very low levels (castrate-resistant) and that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (metastatic). Carboplatin is in a class of medications known as platinum-containing compounds. Carboplatin works by killing, stopping or slowing the growth of tumor cells. Chemotherapy drugs, such as cabazitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Prednisone is often given together with chemotherapy drugs. Prednisone is in a class of medications called corticosteroids. It is used to reduce inflammation and lower the body's immune response to help lessen the side effects of chemotherapy drugs and to help the chemotherapy work. Giving carboplatin with the standard of care chemotherapy drug cabazitaxel may be better at treating metastatic castrate-resistant prostate cancer. Read Less

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of treatment with subcutaneous anifrolumab versus placebo in adult participants with systemic sclerosis. The target population for this study includes patients who meet the 2013 American College of Rheumatology/European League Against Rheumatism (ACR/EULAR) classification for systemic sclerosis, either limited or diffuse cutaneous subsets, with a disease duration of less than 6 years from first non-Raynaud's phenomenon symptom. PUMA-ALI-4201 is a Phase 2 study evaluating alisertib monotherapy in patients with pathologically-confirmed small cell lung cancer (SCLC) following progression on or after treatment with one platinum-based chemotherapy and anti-PD-L1 immunotherapy agent. Up to one additional systemic anti-cancer therapy for SCLC is allowed, for a total of up to two prior lines of therapy.
